INTRODUCTION
Thank you for buying this non-contact forehead infrared thermometer. Please read very carefully this instruction before using the device because the correct use is of critical significance for the accurate measurement of temperature. This thermometer is carefully designed for accurate, safe, and fast measurement of the body temperature on the forehead. Following the guidance in this instruction will make the thermometer user-friendly. The forehead temperature is the same as the subcutaneous good flow. This is good for checking the body temperature because measuring is not compromised by external factors and delays like measuring by the oral and rectal methods.
PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES
-
Sweat on the forehead may result in incorrect values. Before measurement, please ensure that the forehead is clean. If you have cleaned the forehead, wait 5 – 10 minutes before measuring the temperature.
-
Do not touch or blow over the infrared sensor. The contamination of the infrared sensor may result in incorrect readings. Cleans the sensor if you think that it might be contaminated. Cleans the sensor carefully with a cotton earbud soaked in spirit and then dries it with a dry and clean pad. Wait at least 20 minutes after cleaning before you start measuring it.
-
To achieve correct measurements, it is important to keep the probe clean and without scratches. Finger stains and dirt will affect the accuracy of the thermometer. To achieve accurate measurements, keep the probe’s tip clean. After cleaning, place the thermometer in a dry place at room temperature. Do not expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures, moisture, or direct sunlight. Protect it from dropping and impacts.

( PRODUCT DESCRIPTION )
Principle of operation of the thermometer – the temperature sensor
collects the infrared energy emitted by the skin surface. Once it is focused
by a lens, energy is transformed into a temperature reading by the measuring
chains.
Body temperature – the
normal body temperature varies within certain limits. The trend is that the
normal temperature decreases with aging. The table below shows the normal
temperature ranges depending on age.
0 — 2 years | 36.4 — 38.0 °C | 97.5 —100.4 °F |
---|---|---|
3 —10 years | 36.1 — 37.8 °C | 97.0-100.0°F |
11 — 65 years | 35.9 — 37.6 °C | 96.6 — 99.7 °F |
> 65 years | 35.8 — 37.5 °C | 96.4 — 99.5 °F |
The normal temperature range varies among people and can be influenced by many
factors such as the time of the day, measuring at different places, level of
activity, drugs, emotions, etc. We advise you to practice measuring the
temperature on yourself and your family members when in good health. Thus you
will learn how to use the thermometer and will feel more confident when
measuring the temperature of the same people when they feel sick.
Features – Non-contact design, safe, and more hygienic to use. Fast
measuring, for less than 1 second. Accurate and reliable. User-friendly,
single-button design. Multifunctional, capable of measuring forehead, room,
milk, water, and object temperature. Memory function for 35 values, easy to
retrieve. Switching between unmute and mute mode. Function for high
temperature, shown in orange and red light. Switching between °C and °F.
Automatic switch off and energy saving.
Measuring the forehead temperature – press the button for measuring to
switch on the thermometer directed to the forehead at a distance of 0 – 3 cm.
Skin contact is not necessary. When the button for measuring the body
temperature is pressed, a sound is issued and then you may see the reading on
the display. Holding the thermometer too long in the hand before measuring may
result in the warming of the device. It means that measuring can be incorrect.
NOTE: The forehead measurement is indicative. The forehead temperature
may vary upwards to 1 ° F / 0,5 ° C from your actual body temperature. Please
consider the factors that affect accuracy as it is described in the
instruction. If the eyebrows area is covered with hair, sweat, or dirt, please
clean it to improve the measuring accuracy. Always ensure that the sensor is
clean. Always ensure that the user and the thermometer were in the same room
before measuring.

distance in meters (m). Field strengths from fixed RF transmitters,
as determined by an electromagnetic site survey, should be less than the
compliance b level in each frequency range. Interference may occur in the
vicinity of equipment marked with the following symbol:
NOTE 1 At 90MHz and 800MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
NOTE 2 These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic
propagation is affected by absorption and reflection from structures, objects,
and people.
a) Field strengths from fixed transmitters, such as base stations for
radio (cellular/cordless) telephones and land mobile radios, amateur radio, AM
and FM radio broadcasts,s and TV broadcasts cannot be predicted theoretically
with accuracy. To assess the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF
transmitters, an electromagnetic site survey should be considered. If the
measured field strength in the location in which the thermometer is used
exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the thermometer should be
observed to verify normal operation. If abnormal performance is observed,
additional measures may be necessary, such as reorienting or relocating the
thermometer.
b) Over the frequency range 150kHz to 80MHz, field strengths should be
less than 3V/m.
Recommended separation distances between portable and mobile RF
communications equipment and the infrared thermometer
The infrared thermometer is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment
in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of
the infrared thermometer can help prevent electromagnetic interference by
