IRONING TEMPERATURE
Before using the iron for the first time test the heated iron on a piece of cloth to be sure that the iron soleplate (11) and the water tank (10) are clean.

  • Before ironing check the recommended ironing temperature indicated on the tag.
  • If the item label is marked with the symbol, do not iron the item.
  • If there is no label on the clothes item, but you know the type of fabric, refer to the following table to determine the proper temperature.
Icons, type of fabric| Icons| Color of indicator
    ---|---|---
    – nylon, acryl, polyester| •| Blue
    – wool, polyester blended fabric| ••| Purple
    – cotton, linen| •••| Green
    «Max» – denim| max| Red
    – do not iron| –| –
    On–standby mode| –| Yellow
  • This table is only valid for smooth materials.
  • Fabrics of other types (crimped, raised, etc.) are best ironed at low temperatures.
  • Sort items by ironing temperature first: synthetics with synthetics, wool with wool, cotton with cotton.
  • The soleplate (11) heats up faster than it cools down, that’s why you should start ironing with synthetics, then increase the temperature and iron silk and wool items. Cotton and linen items should be ironed last.
  • If an item is made of mixed fabrics, set the lowest ironing temperature. For instance, if an item is made from polyester and cotton, set the ironing temperature for synthetics «•».
  • If you cannot define the fabric structure, find a place that is inconspicuous while wearing and select the ironing temperature experimentally (always start with the lowest temperature and raise it gradually until you get the desired result).
  • Corduroy and other fabrics that can become glossy should be ironed backside.

DRY IRONING
Notes:

  • each press of the TEMP button on the control panel (6) is accompanied by a sound signal;
