Product Usage Instructions
Activation
- Go to www.OptimusTracker.com
- Click on the “Activate Tracker” link
- Fill out the form with the IMEI number printed on the tracker
- Wait for the activation email after subscribing (check spam/junk folder)
Installation
Note: Seek professional help if needed for installation.
- Connect the Black wire (GND) to the vehicle’s frame using the supplied ring terminal.
- Connect the Red wire (8-32V) to a permanent positive power source.
- Ensure the red wire draws energy from a 5-amp fused line for vehicle protection.

- Flashing fast: Searching for cellular network
- Flashing slow: Registered to a cellular network

- Flashing fast: Searching for a GPS signal
- Solid: GPS signal acquired

To activate your tracker, please follow these easy steps
- Go to our website www.OptimusTracker.com
- Click on the “Activate Tracker” link.
- Fill out the form. You will need the IMEI number. It’s the 15-digit number that is printed on the tracker’s labels.
- After subscribing, wait a minute for the activation email. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder too.
You must activate it before installing
Installation
Seek professional help for installation if needed
- A connection of a positive (0-32V) and a ground is needed to power the device.
- Connect the Black wire (GND) to the vehicle’s frame. You can use the supplied ring terminal attached to a screw on your vehicle’s frame.
- Connect the Red 8-32V wire to a permanent positive power.

Keep in Mind
When no cellular signal is available the tracking unit will save the track in its memory until it regains signal. GPS signal may not be acquired if the car is parked indoors.
- You must activate the GPS Tracker online before installation. The GPS Tracker’s SIM card may be blocked permanently by the cellular provider if the device is connected for several days without an active subscription.
