Pairing Hearing Aids to Apple Mac
Neuro and Thrive Platform hearing aids are compatible for direct pairing and bidirectional audio streaming with several Mac devices. Available on computers with the M2 chip and select computers on the M1 chip: MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021), MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021), Mac Studio (2022).
Pairing
Pairing should be completed after the hearing aids have been programmed in the
fitting software.
Ensure that the fitting software is closed prior to pairing with any
compatible Apple Mac device.
On the Apple Mac Device:
- Select the Settings icon. Ensure Bluetooth® is ON.
- Select Accessibility > Hearing Devices.
- Turn the hearing aids OFF and then ON to activate pairing mode.
- The hearing aids will appear under Available Devices. Select Connect.
- When pairing is complete, the word “Connected” will appear under the hearing aid name, and controls for streaming, microphone level, and presets will be visible and functional.
