  • Remove the object that caused the puncture by using a suitable tool such as a pair of pliers (not included).
  • Extreme caution should be used while using tools to prevent injury. Eye protection should be worn while repairing tyres.
  • Apply a generous amount of lubricant to the spiral section of the reaming tool.
  • Push the reaming tool into the punctured area. Push in and out while rotating left and right to
  • make a hole big enough for a repair plug to be inserted.
  • Thread a single repair plug through the eye at the end of the inserting tool until there are equal lengths of the plug on either side of the tool.
  • Lubricant may be added to the tip of the tool to make insertion easier.
  • Firmly push the insertion tool with the repair plug into the punctured area until the sleeve is fully home against the tyre. Leaving a small amount of the plug (5-10mm) visible outside of the tyre.
  • To remove the tool, hold the sleeve firmly against the tyre and pull up on the handle. Do not twist the handle. Use the trimming knife supplied to cut away any excess repair plug exposed.
  • Re-inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure and check for air leaks before refitting to your vehicle.
  • Prepare the inner liner of the tube by buffing it until black is exposed and all foreign material disappears.
  • Apply a liberal amount of cement to the buffed area and smooth out, let dry until tacky.
  • Remove backing from the patch (if cutting the patch, to avoid peeling, round off the corners with scissors), and do not touch the exposed surface.
  • Apply to the cemented area and stick down applying pressure forcing out any trapped air.
  • For pencil tyre gauge: Remove the valve cap, and press the end over the valve until the measuring bar stops.
  • To reset press the measuring bar back in the gauge.
