The MTD-SENSDRY 8 is a high-quality tumble dryer from MORGAN appliances. It has a rated voltage of 220-240V~ and a frequency of 50-60Hz. The dryer has a rated wattage of 1700W and a capacity of 7kg. The dryer features a large window to enable a clear view of the drying operation. It comes with a control panel, door lock, tumbling drum, reset button, program knob, and display screen. The dryer is designed to be installed in a well-ventilated area for better air circulation and to prevent hazards.
Important Safeguards
- Always adhere to basic safety precautions when using electric appliances.
- Do not use the dryer if it is damaged, malfunctioning, partially disassembled, or has missing or broken parts.
- Do not dry any clothes contaminated with combustible materials like gas, methylated spirits, etc.

Installation Instructions
- Ensure the dryer employs an alternative current with the rated voltage and frequency.
- Connect the special power socket according to the instructions provided.
- Install the dryer in a well-ventilated area for better air circulation and to prevent hazards.
- Do not store or install the dryer where it will be exposed to water and weather. If unavoidable, ensure dryer is completely dry before operation.
- It is advisable to wring or squeeze out excess water from clothes before placing them inside the dryer.
- Do not spray combustible aerosols near the dryer during operation. If accidental spray occurs, do not touch the power plug or the Start/Pause button.
- Do not dry any clothes contaminated with combustible materials
- like gas, methylated spirits, etc.
- Do not operate the dryer if damaged, malfunctioning, partially disassembled or has missing or broken parts.
Operating Instructions
- Plug in the power cord to a grounded socket.
- Open the door and place the clothes inside the tumbling drum.
- Select the appropriate program using the program knob.
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin the drying operation.
- Monitor the drying process through the display screen and adjust the settings if necessary.
- Once the drying operation is complete, press the Start/Pause button to stop the dryer and remove the clothes from the drum.

PERSONAL SAFETY
When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
adhered to, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully and retain them for future reference.
- Ensure that the power cord and power plug are not damaged, and the housing is not cracked or deformed. Contact your authorized service agent if any other these are present.
- This is a front-loading Tumble Dryer with PCB board to offer simple and convenient operation. It features a large window to enable a clear view of the drying operation.
- This machine may be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons whose physical, perceptive or mental skills are impaired or who are inexperienced or not knowledgeable about the machine as long as they are supervised or informed and made aware of the safe use of the dryer and the encountered dangers.
- Children should not play with the dryer. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children unless they are supervised by an adult.
- Always operate the machine and power charger responsibly to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury.
- Do not touch the machine with wet hands when it is connected to the power supply.
- The dryer’s door opens at a 180-degree angle, making it convenient to transfer clothes.
- It is anti dust, anti-humidity, anti-shake, durable, with low-noise design.
- Do not operate this machine with industrial chemicals.
- Lint must not be allowed to accumulate around the machine. Ensure the lint filter is cleaned and removed frequently.
- Allow adequate ventilation where the dryer is placed to avoid the backflow of air/gas in the room, and to prevent accidents.
- Do not dry unwashed items.
- Items soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, and wax or wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before tumble drying.
- Do not tumble dry items such as foam rubber (latex), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam and rubber pads.
- Only use fabric softeners, or similar products according by the fabric softener’s instructions.
- The final phase of the tumble-drying cycle (cool down cycle) operates without heat to ensure that the items are left at a temperature that will not damage clothes.
- WARNING: To prevent burns or accidents, never stop the dryer before the drying cycle ends unless all items are quickly removed and spread out for heat to dissipate.
- Do not direct discharged exhaust air from the dryer near any other dryer, gas or other fuel sources.
- TIP: Place the dryer where its door can easily and fully open. · Oil-affected items can ignite spontaneously, especially when exposed to heat sources such as in a Tumble Dryer.
- Always exercise caution when placing items into the dryer and ensure no oil/fuel gets in the Dryer to prevent any fire hazard.
- IMPORTANT: Any item with oil and its other by-products should first be washed in hot water with extra detergent before tumble-drying.
- Do not overturn the machine during normal operation or maintenance.
- Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and matches.
- Never obstruct the dryer’s ventilation openings.
- This dryer is for domestic and indoor use only.

INSTALLATION
STEP 1: POWER SOURCE & GROUNDING
The dryer employs alternative current with the rated voltage and frequency.
The machine uses a special power socket for safety and convenience. Connect
the socket according to the instructions below:
The socket and grounding cables must be installed by an electrician or similarly qualified person(s) to prevent incorrect installation and to ensure the safety and correct use of the dryer. The power wire of the dryer employs a Y connection. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any hazard. There should be no connection between the grounding wire and the neutral wire, otherwise the cabinet will be charged, and may likely to cause electric shocks.
STEP 2: PRECAUTIONS
- Do not store or install the dryer where it will be exposed to water and weather. If unavoidable, ensure dryer is completely dry before operation.
- Install the dryer in a well-ventilated area for better air circulation and to prevent hazards.
- It is advisable to wring or squeeze out excess water from clothes before placing them inside the dryer.
- Do not spray combustible aerosols near the dryer during operation. If accidental spray occurs, do not touch the power plug or the Start/Pause button.
- Do not dry any clothes contaminated with combustible materials like gas, methylated spirits and etc.

- CAUTION: The dryer will be warm to touch, especially on its back. Keep children away.
- Ensure that your hands and feet are not wet when handling or operating the dryer.
- Do not place heavy objects or hot items on top of the dryer to avoid deforming or ruining its finishing or body.
- Avoid placing raincoats or items containing rubber or elastic materials.
- Do not open the dryer door until the drying program has completed to avoid scalding.
Important: The following items should not be tumble-dried:
STEP 3: INSTALLATION
Install the dryer in a well-ventilated area with minimum 10cm distance from
the wall. If installed in a bathroom, ensure it is well-ventilated without any
obstacles of 1.5m in front.
STEP 4: HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT
Use a spirit level tool to ensure the dryer is levelled accurately and
properly.
IMPORTANT
- The dryer will not operate properly if it is not levelled correctly. This will also easily damage the machine.
- Do not install the dryer outdoors or where it can easily be damaged by water
- Do not place it (especially the back) near any curtains or other objects.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARATION
- Wash clothes and wring out excess water before placing into the machine.
- Sort out clothes from heavy to light and place inside machine in different loads. (Heavier clothes take longer to dry and light-weight, shorter.)
- Make sure clothing buttons and the like are high-temperature, otherwise it may damage the dryer’s inner tube. Ensure clothes are protected from damage as well.
- It is advisable to turn clothes inside out before tumble-drying.
- Ensure clothes are clean after washing as the dryer is unable to remove dirt.
- Ensure that the power plug is properly connected to the power supply and that the power cord is in good condition.
INSPECT LINT FILTER
- Ensure the lint filter is clean and properly installed in the right position. · Note: Filter must be cleaned regularly.
PLACE CLOTHES IN THE DRYER
- For best results, it is better to fill the dryer only by a half or two-thirds capacity. Note that clothes need adequate space to circulate evenly.
- When drying bigger loads, include several small items to help balance the load.
- When drying delicate or small clothes (less than 1.5 kg), it is recommended to add several towels with fibers that do not fray. This will help dry the clothes more evenly.
- Do not over-dry to avoid creases on clothes (or static electricity).

- Press the POWER button to switch the machine on.
- If FILTER button flashes – clean lint filter. After cleaning lint filter, close dryer door and press START/PAUSE. FILTER light should disappear.
- Select program (refer to diagram below) according to load texture and capacity.

**Select “Extra Dry” program with full heat for load under 2.0 kg.

Press CREASE GUARD button if drying delicate or light clothes.
NOTE: CREASE GUARD adds an extra 30 seconds to drying time to protect clothes from creasing. -
Push START/PAUSE button to start desired program.

Push the START/PAUSE button to pause the cycle to add more clothes.

WARNING: Beware of escaping hot steam dryer door is opened.

Ensure dryer door is closed to continue program. Push the START/PAUSE button again.

When the Dryer is in PAUSE Mode, it is possible to change or restart programs.

Activate Control Panel lock feature by pushing both CREASE GUARD and HEAT buttons simultaneously.

When lock feature is enabled, it is indicated by a light. Pushing both buttons again will disable this feature.

If the unit does not heat up, push the RESET button located at the back of the unit.

Click the TEMPERATURE DISPLAY button to view dryer temperature during operation.

This function will exit automatically after 5 seconds.

Inspect label attached on clothes to choose the right temperature and time.

You can preset between 1 hour to 12 hours. Press the Preset button and add desired time.

Buzzer will sound to notify that the program has ended and clothes are ready to be removed from the dryer.

Disconnect power cord from the power supply after every use. · Clean Lint Filter, the cabinet and the inner tube.
NOTE: Accumulated dust and fiber will affect air circulation resulting in longer drying time.
IMPORTANT: Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding to clean dryer.
CLEANING LINT FILTER
- Remove lint filter
- The lint filter is located at the door’s opening.
- Clean the lint filter by wiping it down with a damp cloth.
- Once the filter is dry, return the filter to its original position.
- Remember to clean the lint filter after every use.
CLEANING CABINET & INNER TUBE
Use a damp cloth to wipe the cabinet and inner tube.
- Do not rinse directly with water
- Do not use abrasive scour wipes
- Do not use gasoline or alcohol wipes
- Open dryer door for airing after cleaning the inner tube.

Warning Function
FAULT| CAUSE| SOLUTION

Auto Power-off function
• If no program has been selected, the dryer will automatically power off after 10 minutes.
• The Dryer will automatically power off after the buzzer goes off six (6) times.
