  • Features: Climbing walls, cleaning pool floors and walls, adjustable cleaning modes

Product Usage Instructions

General Operation
Ensure the pool is filled with water up to the minimum depth of 80cm/31 for proper operation. Place the SG Pro pool cleaning robot in the water and turn it on.

Cleaning Modes
The SG-Pro has different cleaning modes:

  • WALL ONLY Mode: Select this mode if you want the robot to clean only the walls.
  • AUTO Mode: In AUTO mode, the robot cleans both walls and the pool floor.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Issue: Slow Movement on Walls
Solution: Check if the machine is properly balanced while climbing walls. If one side of the roller brush moves slowly, it is normal due to adjusting the ascending angle. Ensure both brushes rotate at similar speeds.

Issue : Machine Stays on Water Surface
Solution: Clean the filter and check for blockages. Use a stiff needle to clear any clogged pores in the filter to allow proper air exhaust for the machine to sink and operate correctly.

Issue: Machine Not Cleaning Ground
Solution: Ensure you are not in WALL ONLY Mode or AUTO mode with a battery level below 50%. In these modes, the machine focuses on cleaning walls only.

FAQ

Q: Why does the machine flip over while climbing walls?
A: If the pool water is too shallow, the upward force while climbing walls can cause the machine to flip over. Ensure the water depth is at least 80cm/31 for proper wall climbing operation.

Q: How can I resolve the excessive buzzing alarm during charging?
A: Turn off the machine before charging to resolve any loud buzzing alarms during charging.

My pool is shape with the area of sq.ft, water depth is * feet, can I

use this robot?

The best cleaning effects are achieved when the swimming pool has the following conditions: A) The swimming pool area is less than 80 square meters (850sqft), the water depth is less than 2.5 meters (8.2 feet); B) The shape of the swimming pool is rectangular or circular, and the bottom of the pool is smooth and flat; C) If the pool is too large, for example, more than 300m2/3200sq.ft, the cleaning effect will be less.

Why is one side of the roller brush moving slowly when cleaning the walls? Is it broken?

This is normal. When the machine climbs the walls, it adjusts the ascending angle and body balance. As a result, the rotation speed of the brushes on one side may be slightly slower. If the angle is good, the rotation speeds of both brushes should be roughly the same.

It took a long time for it to go from the water surface to the bottom, and it stays on the water surface and doesn't go to the bottom until it shuts down.

Clean the filter and check if the filter pores are blocked. You can use a stiff needle to clear the pores. If the filter pores are blocked, the internal air can’t be exhausted, then it sinks slowly or even floats. If it doesn’t sink within 30 seconds, it shuts down automatically, so drop it into water quickly once turned on.

My machine doesn't work in the water, and it shuts down quickly/It only works for a short time and shuts down before reaching the standard battery life. What could be the reason?

Make sure the machine is fully charged before use. If the battery is not fully charged, the battery life will not meet the requirements. Recharge the machine for 1 hour and then put it in the water. If the battery life is still short, there may be a problem with the machine. You can request repair or replacement. Observe the color changes of the charger indicator during charging: it should be red while charging, green when fully charged or not charging. If you are unable to charge the machine, try using a different charger.

The red light keeps flashing, and the machine is no longer operational.

After turning off the machine, manually rotate the brushes. If there is a lot of resistance or no resistance at all, it means there is a problem with the motor. If there is only a slight sense of obstruction, it is normal. Then, restart the machine and put it back in the water to see if it can continue running. If the machine still flashes red and gives an alarm after restarting, it indicates water leakage, and it needs to be sent for repair or replacement.

I noticed that when it's charging, the lights are blue and green, which is different from the description in the manual.

Accidental water leakage into the motor compartment, request a repair/replacement.

When I'm charging it, it emits a loud buzzing alarm. How can I resolve this?

If the machine emits a loud buzzing sound when charging, it is an alarm. To resolve this, try turning off the machine before charging.

It never climbs the walls; it only cleans the pool bottom.

  1. Please check if you have selected the FLOOR ONLY Mode. Manually adjust the working mode to switch to the Wall Climbing Mode or Auto cleaning mode. Note: The Auto cleaning mode will only activate wall climbing when the battery level is below 50%; if the battery is above 50%, it will only clean the pool bottom;
  2. Clean the filter and try again. It could be that the filter is blocked, causing insufficient water pressure and a lack of climbing ability on the walls; 3) If the pool walls are made of glass or smooth ceramic tiles, there may not be enough friction for the machine to climb the walls.

It flipped over while climbing the wall, exposing its belly.

If the pool water is too shallow, when the machine starts to climb the walls, there will be an upward force. If the water depth is insufficient, the machine is prone to surge out of the water, resulting in flipping over with the bottom side facing up. The minimum water depth requirement for wall climbing is ≥80cm/31.

It keeps cleaning the pool walls but doesn't clean the ground.

Please check if you have selected the WALL ONLY Mode or AUTO mode with battery level less than 50%. Under these two conditions, the machine only cleans walls.

It moves too slowly or even stays still; or just keeps spinning in one place instead of moving around and cleaning my pool.

After turning off the machine, manually rotate the roller brush. If there is a lot of resistance or no resistance at all, it means there is a problem with the motor. If there is only a slight sense of obstruction, it is normal. Then, clean the filter again and restart the machine and put it back in the water to see if it can continue running normally. If the walking motor is faulty, the machine will not be able to move. If the filter net is clogged and the water spray is insufficient, the machine will have inadequate friction with the pool bottom and move slowly.

The machine runs very fast and even stands upright, but it doesn't clean at all.

Motor issue, please contact the service team for replacement.

It often gets stuck on the steps and takes a long time to get free. The machine is stuck on the steps and the red light is flashing/it has shut down.

Some pool steps or pool drains may get the cleaner stuck if the step space is not big enough to hold the entire machine. The PVC roller will get over hanged, taking a long time to get free. The best way is to get it free manually. SG Pro doesn’t climb steps which are smaller than the cleaner.

Every time it sprays the wall, it looks/heads up but doesn't actually climb it.

It’s the standard design/setup and working logic, just feel assured to use it.

Does the machine only move in one direction? I noticed that every time it encounters a wall, it rotates and turns around.

Yes, it moves forward with only the side with logo. Every time it needs to turn around, it will rotate first.

It stopped in a shallow area of the water and is partially floating, unable to perform the cleaning job.

If the water is too shallow, the machine will not have enough water resistance when spraying, resulting in insufficient friction at the bottom of the machine. As a result, it may not be able to move or even lift its head while moving, giving it a somewhat floating appearance. It will be unable to stably sink and move along the pool bottom.

The advertisement claimed that it has excellent path planning for cleaning, but I haven't seen that.

  1. Due to the buoyancy of water and the influence of the pool bottom structure, it is difficult for the machine to maintain a perfectly straight path underwater. Each time it moves, there will be slight deviations in the path. These deviations accumulate over time, resulting in a somewhat disorganized movement pattern. However, as long as the machine has sufficient battery life, it can still clean the majority of the pool area. So, this behavior is normal.2) If the pool bottom is too smooth, the machine may experience slipping during operation, making the cleaning path deviated

The charging port of the machine has turned green and white. Could there be a problem during charging? Can it be directly charged with water residue?

Each time you use the machine, it is important to securely fasten the charging port cap. If you charge the machine with water residue, it may result in electrolytic corrosion for the charging pins. Before charging, you can check if there is any residual moisture inside the charging port. Let it dry naturally or use a blower to dry it.

This trash bin/filter is difficult to clean. Every time before using it, I have to spend a lot of time cleaning it.

If the dirt on the filter has dried and has strong adhesion, you can soak the filter in water with a small amount of cleanser for about an hour before cleaning it. This will help loosen the dirt and make it easier to clean; another option is to use a high-pressure washer to flush the filter. The strong water pressure can effectively remove stubborn dirt and debris. After each use, it is important to clean the debris bin/filter promptly to prevent any residue from drying inside the bin. Some fine particles and dust can become strongly adhered once they dry, making them difficult to clean.

The trash bin cover is closed, but there are gaps. Is it broken? When I put it in the water, the bin cover automatically opens every time. I have to retrieve it and reinstall it.

The backside of the handle on the cover is designed with a spring to facilitate easy opening. After multiple uses, the two ends of the handle may lift up, causing the locking position to be higher. This is a normal occurrence. When closing the cover, you just need to press down on the ends of the handle to secure it in place.

It doesn't stick to the pool bottom while operating, resulting in no cleaning effect.

If the filter net is clogged with debris, the water flow may decrease, causing the machine to lose pressure and unable to sink to the bottom. In this case, please remove the filter net, thoroughly clean it, and then try placing it back in the water (you can use a brush or a high-pressure water gun to rinse it).
