Precautions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING
Power Supply
Please connect the designated AC adapter to an AC outlet of the correct voltage. Be sure only to use an AC adapter that supplies 9V DC, 300mA. Unplug the AC power adapter when not in use or during electrical storms.

Connection
Please disconnect the power supply before setting up the connection or disconnecting any signal cable to avoid damage. In addition, please remove any cables or power supply before moving the device.

Location
To avoid deformation, discoloration, or other serious damage, do not expose this unit to the following conditions:

  • Direct sunlight or other heat sources
  • Magnetic fields
  • Excessively dusty or dirty locations
  • High humidity or moisture
  • Strong vibrations or shocks

Radio Frequency Interference
Radios and televisions placed nearby may experience reception interference. Operate this unit at a suitable distance from radios and televisions.

Cleaning
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, slightly moisten the cloth. Do not use abrasive cleanser, cleaning alcohol, paint thinners, wax, solvents, cleaning fluids, or chemical-impregnated wiping cloths.

Operation

  • Please do not toggle the switch or rotate the knob heavily.
  • Please do not let paper scraps, metal debris, or other items fall inside the unit.
  • Please do not let the unit fall from a high level, or push or strike the unit heavily.

Layout

  1. DRY
    Rotate to adjust the volume level of dry signal.

  2. LEFT
    Rotate to adjust the volume level of left output of the harmony effect.

  3. RIGHT
    Rotate to adjust the volume level of right output of the harmony effect.

  4. NOTE L
    Rotate to adjust the harmony type of the left output.

  5. NOTE R
    Rotate to adjust the harmony type of the right output.

  6. Scale selection
    The LED indicator shows the currently selected scale.

  7. SAVE
    Press the button to switch between scales. Press and hold to save the change.

  8. LEFT footswitch LED
    Indicate the status of left harmony effect output.

  9. RIGHT footswitch LED
    Indicate the status of right harmony effect output.

  10. LEFT Footswitch
    Press to turn On/Offf the left harmony effect output.

  11. RIGHT Footswitch
    Press to turn On/Offf the right harmony effect output.

  12. INPUT L (MONO)
    1/4″ mono (TS) audio jack, please use this jack for mono setup (it is also the left input jack of the stereo setup)

  13. INPUT R
    1/4″ mono (TS) audio jack, the right input jack of the stereo setup.

  14. OUTPUT L (MONO)
    1/4″ mono (TS) audio jack, please use this jack for mono setup (it is also the left output jack of the stereo setup)

  15. OUTPUT R
    1/4″ mono (TS) audio jack, the right output jack of the stereo setup.

  16. Power jack
    Connect to 9V 300mA center negative power supply. It is recommended to use the original power supply to avoid noise issue.

Instructions

Scales/Tonality Selection
Users can select scales/tonality via the methods below:

  1. Press the SAVE button to scroll through the scales
  2. Press LEFT + RIGHT footswitches simultaneously to enter scales/tonality select mode, the SAVE button and the footswitch LED will blink slowly and simultaneously. In this mode, press the LEFT footswitch to scroll up, and press the RIGHT footswitch to scroll down. The select mode will quit automatically after being idle for 3 seconds.

In the scales/tonality select mode, the 7 LED indicators on the left side will show the current selected scales/tonality.
When a single indicator illuminates, the natural scale is selected. C for C scale, D for D scale.
Two indicators illuminate simultaneously for other scales. C and D for C♯/D♭ , D and E for D♯/E♭.
The color of the LED will indicate the selected tonality. RED for major, BLUE for minor.
In the normal footswitch mode, press and hold either footswitch to switch between major and minor scales.

Effect On/Off
Harmony X2 has LEFT and RIGHT two different effect modules, press the LEFT footswitch or RIGHT footswitch to turn On/Off the relevant module.

Effect Adjustment
Rotate the DRY knob to adjust the volume level of the dry signal when the pedal is On. When the DRY is set to the 5 o’clock position, the volume level of the dry signal is the same as that of the effect signal; when it is at the 7 o’clock position (minimum position), the dry signal will be Off completely.

Notes: When the effect is Off, the DRY control will not affect the BYPASS signal.
Rotate the LEFT and RIGHT knobs to adjust the volume level of the relevant harmony module.
When the knobs are at the 5 o’clock position (maximum position), the effect volume level will be the same as the input signal. When the knobs are at the 7 o’clock position (minimum position), the effect volume will be completely Off.

The NOTE L and NOTE R control the harmony mode of LEFT and RIGHT modules. Rotate to select between 11 harmony modes for both L and R modules.

Effect Parameter Saving
When any changes to the parameters are made, the scale/tonality LED indicator will blink for a reminder.
Press and hold the SAVE to save the current selected change. Or you can press the SAVE quickly to switch scale/tonality, or power Off the pedal to discard saving.

Output Mode Setting
HARMONY X2 has two output modes, the mixed mode and the individual mode.
Press and hold the SAVE and RIGHT footswitch to switch between the two modes. The color of the SAVE button LED will indicate the current mode. RED for the mixed mode; BLUE for the individual mode.
In the mixed mode, LEFT and RIGHT modules will be mixed, and then outputs from the left and right output jacks simultaneously.
In the individual mode, LEFT modules output from the left output jack; RIGHT module outputs from the right output jack.

Factory Reset

Press and hold the SAVE button while plugging in the power cord, and the LED indicators will blink slowly, then release the SAVE button, the LED indicator will blink quickly and Off to finish the factory reset. Or you can unplug the power cord before releasing the SAVE button to cancel the reset.
