INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before using your freezer
- Remove the exterior and interior packing.
- Check to be sure you have all of the following parts:
- a) storage baskets according your order,
- b) instructions of installation, operation & maintenance.
- Before connecting the freezer to the power source, is necessary to let it stand for some time. So you will reduce a possible malfunction in the cooling system which it becomes from the transportation.
- Clean the interior surface and gasket with lukewarm water using a soft cloth or sponge.
Installation of your freezer
- Locate the freezer preferably in dry areas. Too much moisture in the air will cause frost to form quickly on the interior surface, requiring more frequent defrosting of the freezer.
- Locate the freezer away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as: oven, radiator or other. So you will avoid the increasing of electrical consumption and you protect the colors of the plastic and metallic parts.
- Place your appliance on a horizontal floor that is strong enough to support the appliance when it is fully loaded.
- Level the freezer from side to side and front to back.
- Allow 10 cm of space in front of engine compartment openings to improve the air circulation for compressor and condenser cooling.
- After plugging the appliance, allow the unit to cool down before placing products inside.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
-
WARNING / Fire hazard.
Do not use an extension cord. If not, you can cause electrical shock, fire, death. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or service technician install an outlet near the freezer. -
WARNING / Electrical shock hazard

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
- The first time you turn on the appliance after a disconnection, for e.g. defrost, let it run for a few time before putting the products inside. This will ensure the cabinet is thoroughly chilled before products is put in. During some time the compressor will run constantly. This is normal.
- Only for model: 7472.0115 – inverter edition. The variable speed compressor offers maximum low energy consumption. This is achieved with the longest duty cycle that the system allow in low rpm, avoided in this way to reduce the No of start-ups / stops of the compressor. The compressor stop only for few minutes. This is normal. Also it is normal than when the compressor starts for the first time, it will need some hours continuous running until its first stop.
- The thermostat is located behind the engine compartment grill. The thermostat position No is pre-setted by the manufacturer and normally can cover your needs. If you want to modify the pre-setted position No, you have to turn the thermostat knob clockwise, from position 1 warmest temperatures to position 7 coldest temperatures. We advise you to set it between 3 -4 position. For models with electronic thermostat conduct with the supplier.
- To turn the freezer off, turn the thermostat knob to 0.
- WARNING / Setting the thermostat knob to 0 , you stop the cooling cycle but does not shut off the power to the freezer.

- WARNING / Unplug the freezer, before cleaning or defrosting.
- WARNING / Do not places electrical devices such as fans air hair dryers in freezer for faster defrosting. You can cause electrical shock or death.
- Remove all frozen products for cleaning the frost. Leave the frozen products in another freezer or in a cool area.
- Leave lid open.
- Open the defrost water drain tap ( located on the inner bottom ) and use a large sponge to remove water faster.
- Use a plastic scraper to remove frost.
