SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.

Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are . dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type of danger.

Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the working surface or countertop.

Turn .9ff and unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.

This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not use it outdoors.

Place the appliance on a dry, stable, at, heat-resistant surface.

Do not use the appliance under the following circumstances:

On or near a gas or electric hob, in heated ovens, or near open flames.

On soft surfaces (such as carpets) or where it may tip over during use.

Outdoors or in areas with high humidity levels.

The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high while in use and could cause burns.
Do not touch hot surfaces while in use or immediately after. -
Do not wash the appliance in dishwashers.

The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of as long as they ar-e-given continuous supervision.

This appliance is not intended to be : used by persons with the reduced physical. sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety, and understand the hazards involved.

Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.
BEFORE USE
ADVERTENCIA: clean the product before the first use in order to remove production residues.

Pour water into the water tank, do not exceed the “MAX” mark, and place the water tank in its correct position.
Note: the appliance is provided with a detachable tank for easy cleaning. Fill the water tank first and then place it in the appliance. -
Place the stainless-steel mesh in the funnel (without coffee).

Place a cup on the cup support. Make sure the steam knob is turned completely anticlockwise.
-
Connect the appliance to a power supply and press . The red indicator will light up indicati g the machine is preheating.

Press for the pump to start pumping water. To stop it, press again. The preheating process will be completed when the red and green indicator light turn steady.

Press for the machine to dispense water.
-
Once the machine has finished dispensing water, pour all remaining water away and clean all the containers thoroughly. Now, the machine is ready to be used.
Warning: when activating the pump for the first time, the appliance may produce some noise which will disappear after 20 seconds. This is because the machine is releasing air and is completely normal, it does not affect to the product’s operation.
OPERATION
Preheating
It is suggested to preheat the appliance, including the funnel, filter and cup, so the coffee flavor is not affected by the fact of some of the pieces being cold.
- Remove the detachable tank and open the tank cover to fill it with the desired amount of water, do not exceed the “MAX” mark in the tank. Place the tank into the appliance properly.
- Introduce the stainless-steel mesh filter into the funnel, pull the press bar backward, make sure the funnel’s tube is aligned with the groove in the appliance, then insert the funnel into the appliance and release the press bar.
- Fix it firmly in the coffee machine by turning it anticlockwise to the “lock” position.
- Place an espresso cup on the cup support.
- Connect the machine to the power supply and make sure the steam knob is turned completely clockwise.
- Press . The red light indicator will light up, indicating the machine is preheating. Press again for the pump to start pumping water, and stop it by pressing the same button again. This process will pump water from the tank to the boiler.
Espresso
- Remove the funnel by turning it in anticlockwise. Add ground coffee to the stainless-steel filter with the measuring spoon (one spoon of ground coffee powder can make about a cup of coffee), then use the measuring spoon to press down the coffee.
- Pull the press bar backward, make sure the funnel’s tube is aligned with the groove in the appliance, then insert the funnel into the appliance and release the press bar. Fix it firmly in the coffee machine by turning it anticlockwise to the “tock” position.
- Pour out the hot water from the cup and place the hot cup on the cup support.
- Press , and the red indicator light will turn on. Once the red and green indicators light up steady , press if. The device will start dispensing coffee.
- Press to stop when you have obtained the desired amount of coffee. The indicator lights will turn off and the machine will stop operating.
Warning: do not leave the coffee machine unattended during operation as some of the steps require manual operation
Milk froth/Cappuccino
- Prepare a regular espresso in a slightly larger cup. Make sure the steam knob is turned completely anticlockwise.
- Press ◊ and wait until the red and green indicators light up steady.
- Fill a jug with about 100 grams of milk for each cappuccino to be prepared.
- Turn the steam knob slowly clockwise, the frothing tube will start producing steam.
- Insert the frothing tube into the milk about 2 cm, froth milk while you move the vessel around un and down.
- Turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise when the milk is frothed to your taste.
- Pour the frothed milk into the espresso prepared. Sweeten to taste and if desired. sprinkle the froth with a little cocoa powder.
- Press to turn the device off.
Note:
- It is suggested to use whole milk for the best quality results.
- Use a jug not smaller than 70:tS mm in diameter and enough tall, the milk volume will increase times 2 when it is frothed.
- Do not use hot milk. always operate the machine with warm milk.
- Do not turn the steam knob quickly, milk could spill and cause burns.
- Always clean the steam outlet with a wet sponge immediately after using it.
- Before brewing another coffee, allow the machine to rest for S minutes.
Hot water
This function allows for keeping coffee warm by adding hot water or cleaning the cup.
- Press and wait until the red and green indicator lights turn on.
- Turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise and place a jug under the steam wand.
- Press for the machine to dispense hot water.
Warning : keep the steam wand inside the jug or cup in order avoid water from scattering and causing burns
Heating drinks
The steam wand (without the frothing tube) can be used to heat beverages like chocolate, water, or tea.
- Turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise and press 0, and wait until the red and green indicator lights turn on steady.
- Remove the frothing tube from the steam wand.
- Introduce the steam wand into the liquid to be heated. Turn the steam knob gently anticlockwise to start producing steam.
- When the required temperature is reached, turn the steam knob completely clockwise.
- Press the steam on/off” to turn the device off.
Note: the machine will automatically turn off after 25 minutes of no operation unless de on/off button is pressed.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn the appliance off, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product’s housing.
- Do not use any toxic, corrosive, or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges to clean the device, these can damage the surface.
- Do not immerse the appliance or any of its non-removable parts in water.
- Clean the water tank, drip tray, cup support, and other removable parts periodically and dry them before placing them in their position again.
Note: to clean the filter and funnel, turn the funnel anticlockwise, throw away all coffee rests, and rinse with water.
Mineral-deposits cleaning.
- Fill the tank with water ( 4/5). and descaling product (1/5) to the MAX mark.
- Place the funnel and the jug in their place without coffee and carry out the preheating cycle.
- Press and wait until the red and green light indicators turn on.
- Press and allow the machine to dispense 2 cups of water. Then, press again to close the pump and wait for 5 seconds
- Place the jug under the steam wand and turn the steam knob completely anticlockwise (at least 135°).
- Press for the machine to dispense 2 cups of water. Then, press if again to close the pump and wait for 5 seconds.
- Restart the device and repeat these steps until there is no more water left in the tank (at least 3 times).
- Brew a coffee with tap water up to the MAX mark, without coffee powder, and repeat the before steps until there is no more water in the tank (at least 3 times).

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long
as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical
condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction
manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
- The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
- The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorized by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
- Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defect of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of r.nisuse, the warranty will not apply .
