CM-400 Contact Microphone

The CM-400 Contact Microphone (for exclusive use of KORG tuners) is a clip on microphone which is attached directly to a musical instrument and works by sending vibrations direct to the tuner – even in a noisy environment.
Note: Do not twist the cord of the microphone around the tuner or pull the cord strongly, since it will cause the cord to break. Take great care in handling the cord and microphone at all times.
Note: The CM-400’s design provides stability and grip when clipped all the way – even on thin and urved bells. Please adjust position and depth of insertion of clip according to the instrument.

Precautions

Location
Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction.

In direct sunlight
Locations of extreme temperature or humidity
Excessively dusty or dirty locations
Locations of excessive vibration
Close to magnetic fields

Handling
To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Care
If the exterior becomes dirty, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene or thinner, or cleaning compounds or flammable polishes.

Keeping foreign matter out of your equipment Never set any container with liquid in it near this equipment. If liquid gets into the equipment, it could cause a breakdown, fire, or electrical shock. Be careful not to let metal objects get into the equipment.
