Product Information: OSRAM LEDSC03 / LEDSC03-1 Electronic Load Resistor
The OSRAM LEDSC03 / LEDSC03-1 is an electronic load resistor designed for use with BMW 2 series cars (Active Tourer F45 / 46, Gran Tourer F45 / 46, F22 / F23 / F87). It is used to address issues that may arise when installing LED lights, such as flickering or error messages on the dashboard. The load resistor is plugged into the vehicle’s SMART CANBUS system and provides a stable output to the headlights.
Product Usage Instructions
- First, locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir and move it to one side (for F45 / 46 models).
- Connect the SMART CANBUS (load resistor) plug to the vehicle connector.
- Connect the SMART CANBUS (load resistor) socket with the headlight.
- Mount the SMART CANBUS (load resistor) to the vehicle’s body (metal). Tighten the cable ties until they are taut.
- For F45 / 46 models, remount the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
- Turn the load resistor switch to the ON position.
