• DO NOT operate the tool around children or pets, this product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.

• DO NOT remove or destroy any label appearing on this instrument.

• DO NOT stare directly at the laser beam, as this can cause blindness.
  Only turn the laser ON when being used.

• DO NOT place the tool in a position that may cause anyone to stare at the laser beam, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and ensure bystanders are aware of the dangers.

•  DO NOT point the laser beam emitted by the instrument at people or animals.

• DO NOT point the laser onto shiny or reflective surfaces such as glass  or polished metals, as this could reflect the beam back at the operator  or passes by.

• DO NOT attempt to modify the performance of this laser device in any way. This may result in a dangerous exposure to laser radiation.
  • DO NOT attempt to repair or disassemble the laser measuring tool.
  Any repair required on this laser product should be performed only by qualified service personnel.

• Only use accessories that have been designed for use with this laser.
  The use of accessories designed for other laser products could result in serious injury.

•  DO NOT place or store the product in extreme temperatures.

• DO NOT operate the tool in explosive environments, such as in the presence of flammable gasses or dusts. Any sparks created by the  tool could ignite the dust or fumes.

• Keep the tool away from cardiac pacemakers. The magnet inside the  tool generates a magnetic field that can impair the function of cardiac  pacemakers.

• Keep the tool away from magnetic data storage media and magnetically sensitive equipment. The effect of the magnet could lead to permanent data loss.

• Measurements may not be accurate if used beyond the rated range of the device.

• The use of optical instruments with this product will increase eye hazard.

• Always make sure any bystanders nearby are aware of the dangers of  looking directly into the measuring tool.

• Only use the supplied USB cable to charge the distance measure.

Technical data

*The typical measurement uncertainty of ± 2.0 mm is valid for measurements on white, diffusive, reflective targets up to 10 m at low  ambient light and moderate temperatures. For a distance that is longer than 10 m, the measurement uncertainty could increase additionally by 0.1 mm/m. In unfavourable conditions (such as bright sunlight, targets with poor reflectivity, or high or low temperatures) the measurement uncertainty  could further increase up to ± 3.0 mm for distances below 10 m and additionally by roughly 0.2 mm/m for a distance that is longer than 10 m.

Disposal and recycling

•  Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Care for the environment and take them to the collection points provided in  accordance with national or local regulations.
• The product must not be disposed with household waste. Dispose of the product appropriately in accordance with the national regulations in force in your country. Adhere to the national and country specific regulations. Please recycle where facilities exist or check with your  local authority or local store for recycling advice.

To make a claim under this guarantee, you must present your proof of  purchase (such as a sales receipt, purchase invoice or other evidence admissible under applicable law), please keep your proof of purchase in a  safe place. For this guarantee to apply, the product you purchased must be new, it will not apply to second hand or display products. Unless stated otherwise by applicable law.
This guarantee covers product failures and malfunctions provided the product was used for the purpose for which it is intended and subject to installation, cleaning, care and maintenance in accordance with the information contained in these terms and conditions, in the user manual and standard practice, provided that standard practice does not conflict  with the user manual.
This guarantee does not cover defects and damage caused by normal wear and tear or damage that could be the result of improper use, faulty installation or assembly, neglect, accident, misuse, or modification of  the product. Unless stated otherwise by applicable law, this guarantee will not cover, in any case, ancillary costs (shipping, movement, costs of uninstalling and reinstalling, labour etc), or direct and indirect damage.
This guarantee does not include consumable parts such as batteries, clamps/accessories and does not cover the accuracy of the unit.
If the product is defective, we will, within a reasonable time, replace/refund the product.

Battery Charging / Power Indication

Before Charging:

1. This distance measure is equipped with a universal Type-C charging port and comes with a USB charging cable. Use the provided cable to charge the battery.
2.  Fully charge the battery before initial use and whenever the tool has not been used for a long time.
3.  The tool does not measure during the charging process.

Charging the Battery:

1. Plug the small end of the cable into the typc-c port of the device.

2.  Insert the USB end of the cable into a USB port in a computer or USB power outlet.
   

3. When you charge the battery, the battery symbol scrolls like . Wait approximately 3 hours for the battery to fully charged, the battery symbol will becomes , and then disconnect the USB Recharge cable.

Operation Instrument Set-up

Switching ON/OFF

1. To switch on the measuring tool, briefly press the measuring button .
2.  To switch off the measuring tool, press and hold the Clear/Off button for more than 2s.

Clear

1. Press 1x to Undo last action.
2. Press 2x to cancel the current operation/function and to return to the default operation mode (Length Measurement).

Selecting the reference level
By default, distances are measured from the bottom of the tool to a wall or object ; To measure from the top of the tool, press the button for more than 2s to select . Repeat to return to measuring from the bottom of the tool. When the tool is switched off it will default back to the measuring  from the bottom of the tool.

Unit setting
The default unit of measurement is “m” (metres). Six different units of measurement are available. Press the button more than 2s to switch between the following units:

Taking Measurements

Measuring Single Distance

1. Point the tool’s laser toward the wall or object to be measured.
2.  Short press to turn the tool on, by default the product turns on in single measurement mode .
3. Press again to switch on the laser beam.
4. To measure, briefly press the measuring button . The measured value will be shown at the bottom of the display.

Repeat steps 3,4 for each subsequent measurement. The last measured value is at the bottom of the display, the penultimate measured value is above it, and so on.

Adding values
You can add two measurements to get a total measurement of the two  distances.

1. Measure a length as described in the “Measuring single distance” section.
2. Press the button, the original distance and the + symbol will be displayed.
3.  Press the measuring button to start the next measurement.
4.  The result is shown in the main line and the measured value above.

Notes: This process can be repeated as required.
Subtracting values
You can subtract one measurement from another
To subtract values, press the button . The subsequent steps are the same as for the section on adding values.

Measuring Continuously
To take a series of measurements as you move around, change to Continuous Measure Mode.

1.  Point the tool’s laser toward the wall or object to be measured.
2.  Briefly press the measuring button   to turn the tool on
3.  Press and hold for approximately 2 seconds to enter continuous measurement mode, the measured value is displayed at the bottom of the screen, the data will keep changing as you move the tool.
4. Move the measuring tool until the required distance is shown at the display. Briefly pressing the measuring button will interrupt the  continuous measurement. The current measured value will be shown at the display.
   

Measuring Area
You can measure the area of a wall, floor, or object.

1.  Point the tool’s laser toward the wall or object to be measured.
2. Briefly Press the measuring button to turn the tool on.
3. Press the menu button once to select the area measurement mode .
4. Then measure the width and length one after the other as with a length measurement.
5. The first measured value is shown at the top of the display. After the second measurement has been completed, the area will be automatically calculated and displayed. The end result is shown at the bottom of the display, while the individual measured values are shown above.
   

Measuring Volume

You can measure the volume of a room or object.

1.  Point the tool’s laser toward the wall or object to be measured.
2.  Briefly Press the measuring button  to turn the tool on.
3. Press the menu button twice to select the volume measurement mode .
4.  Then measure the width, length and depth one after the other as with a length measurement.
5. The first measured value is shown at the top of the display. After  the third measurement has been completed, the volume will be automatically calculated and displayed. The end result is shown at the bottom of the display, while the individual measured values are shown above it.

After use

1.  To ensure the instrument operates at optimal performance it should be regularly cleaned.
2. Always switch the instrument OFF before cleaning.
3.  The housing can be cleaned with a damp cloth, taking care that no  water enters the product.
4.  DO NOT immerse the electrical/optical parts of the product in water or other liquids, and never hold it under running water.
5. Any lenses can be cleaned using a cotton bud with a small amount of distilled water or alcohol.
6. After cleaning, ensure that all parts dry properly before use.
7. The product should be stored carefully, so that it is protected from dust and scratches.

Troubleshooting

Error Code
