Important Safety Instructions
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this appliance is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons
including the following:
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- The plug must be removed from the socket outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
- Never use the appliance without the dust cup and filters installed. This could damage the motor and shorten the appliance’s lifespan.
- Never use any of the nozzle or brushes on people, animals or plants.
- Do not vacuum up anything which has been burning or smoking such as cigarettes, ashes or matches.
- Do not vacuum up any water, liquid or damp dirt.
- Do not vacuum up any inflammable or combustible liquids or gases and do not vacuum in areas where such substances are stored.
- Keep body parts and clothing away from any openings or moving parts of the appliance.
- Switch off the appliance before attaching, removing and cleaning the accessories.
- Use only authorized accessories and replacement parts.
- Use extra care when vacuuming on stairs.
- Do not open the appliance housing. Do not insert any foreign objects into the inside of the appliance.
- To avoid damaging the supply cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges.
- Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames as well.
- Lay out the supply cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible.
- Never operate the appliance with any air openings blocked. Keep ventilation openings free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and loose cloth.
- This appliance is classified as protection class II. This means the appliance is equipped with reinforced or double insulation between the mains supply circuit and the output voltage or the casing. Therefore it does not require a safety connection to an electrical earth (ground).

Before First Use
DANGER Risk of suffocation
Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets- these materials are
a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
- Remove all the packing materials.
- Remove and review all components before use.
- Check the appliance for transport damages.
- Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the appliance rating label.

Multi-surface brush (R)
Mode:
Suitable for cleaning rugs and low pile carpets.

Suitable for cleaning tiles and hard floors.
Parquet brush (T)
Suitable for cleaning wood floors, such as parquet and laminate floorings.

Suitable for cleaning on window blinds, shelves and wooden surfaces.

Assembly
NOTICE
The appliance can be used without the extension tube (N). When the extension
tube {N) is not used, attach the accessories (R/ T/ U/ V/ w) directly to the
flexible hose (0).

Insert the flexible hose (0) into the hose intake (A) (Fig. 1).
When the flexible hose (O) is inserted correctly, there should be a click sound.

Insert the handle of the flexible hose (0) into the wide end of the extension tube (N) (Fig. 2)

Push the tube release switch (M) while pulling out the inner part of the extension tube (N) to adjust the length (Fig. 3).

Insert the extension tube (N) into the connector of the accessories (R/ T/ U/ V/ W) (Fig. 4).
Operation
8.1 Switching on/off

Pull the supply cord (G) out to the required length. The supply cord (G) should be up to the yellow mark, but no longer than the red mark (Fig. 5).

Connect the plug (G) to a suitable socket outlet.

Press the on/off button (I) to switch the appliance on or off (Fig. 6).
8.2 Using the appliance

Use the suction control switch (P) on the flexible hose (0) to increase or decrease the suction power (Fig. 7).

After use, switch the appliance off and disconnect the plug (G)
-
While pressing the cable winder button (I), hold the supply cord (G) with the other hand and slowly accompany it to rewind into the storage compartment. (Fig. 8).
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING Risk of electric shock!
To prevent electric shock, unplug the appliance before cleaning.
During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water
or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction,
repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
9.1 Cleaning
NOTICE
Detach the accessories (R/T/ U/ V/ W), including the flexible hose (0) and
extension tube (N), from the appliance before cleaning.
To clean the appliance, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Wipe the appliance dry after cleaning.
Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or
sharp utensils to dean the appliance.
9.1.1 Emptying the dust cup
NOTICE
Empty the dust cup (Bl when the amount of dust has reached the MAX FILL
marking.

Press the cup release button (E) to detach the dust cup (B) from the appliance (Fig. 9).

Hover the dust cup (B) on top of a trash bin. Press the unlock button to dispose of the contents in the dust cup (B) (Fig. 10).
-
Detach the cyclone collector from the dust cup (Bl by turning it anti-clockwise. Dispose of the collected debris (Fig. 10).
-
Close the cover of the dust cup (B). Refit the dust cup (B) to the appliance.
9.1.2 Cleaning the dust cup
NOTICE
Empty the dust cup (B) before cleaning it.

Press the cup release button (E) to detach the dust cup (B) from the appliance (Fig. 9).
-
Open the top lid by pulling its locking tab upwards (Fig. 11)
-
Take the separator out. Turn the cyclone collector clockwise to detach it from the separator (Fig. 12).
-
Clean the dust cup (B), separator and cyclone collector using water and mild detergent.
-
Dry the parts thoroughly before reassembling and refitting to the appliance.
9.1.3 Cleaning the dust cup filter
-
press the cup release button (El to detach the dust cup (B) from the appliance (Fig. 9).
-
Open the top lid by pulling its locking tab outwards.
-
Take the dust cup filter (C) (the filter frame and the foam inlay) out from the top lid (Fig. 13).
-
Tap the filter frame gently to remove any excess dust and debris.
-
Rinse the filter frame and the foam inlay under running water.
-
Leave the filter frame and the foam inlay to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours. Avoid exposing to direct sunlight.
-
Refit the dust cup filter (C) to the top lid afterwards.
NOTICE
Replace the dust cup filter (C) with an identical replacement part (model:
12175000090786) every 3 months or when it is heavily soiled.
9.1.4 Cleaning the HEPA filter
NOTICE
Depending on usage frequency, it is recommended to clean the motor filter at
least twice a year or when it is visibly dirty. A clogged filter can reduce
the appliance’s airflow and cause the motor to overheat.
Replace the HEPA filter (K) with an identical replacement part (model:
12175000065393) when needed.

Push the locking tab to the left to release the air outlet grille (J) (Fig. 14)

Take the HEPA filter (Kl out by gently pressing down the tab on top of the HEPA filter (K) (Fig. 15).

Rinse the HEPA filter (K) with warm water to wash away dust build-up and residue.
-
Leave the HEPA filter (Kl to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours. Avoid exposing to direct sunlight.
-
Refit the parts afterwards.
9.2 Storage
Clip the accessory holder (X) on the extension tube (N) for storing the small
accessories (U/ V/ W) (Fig. 16).
Fit the multi-surface brush (R) on the multi-surface brush holder (H) on the rear of the appliance (Fig. 17).
- Rewind the supply cord (G) fully before storage.
- Store the appliance in its original packaging in a dry area.
Keep away from children and pets.
9.3 Replacement parts
NOTICE
Use only authorized accessories and replacement parts.
Replacement parts can be requested from Amazon customer service. Go to
“Orders” -> find the order with this product -> click “Get product support” ->
click “Call me”.
Then, follow the on-screen instructions.

9.4 Plug fuse replacement (for UK only)
Use a flat screwdriver to open the fuse compartment cover.
Remove the fuse and replace with the same type (13 A, BS1363A). Refit the
cover.
9.5 Maintenance
Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by a
professional repair centre.
