Product Usage Instructions

Connecting the Phone

To connect the GRP2601W Wi-Fi Phone, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the power adapter to the power port on the phone.
  2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone.
  3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your network router or switch.
  4. If using a headset, connect it to the headset port on the phone.
  5. Power on the phone by pressing the Power button.

Using the Phone

Once the phone is connected, you can use it for various functions:

  • To make a call, dial the desired number using the keypad and press the Send button.
  • To answer a call, press the Send button or the Headset button if using a headset.
  • To adjust the volume during a call, use the Volume buttons.
  • To navigate through menus and select options, use the Navigation keys and the MENU/OK key.
  • To mute/unmute the microphone during a call, press the Mute button.
  • To access voicemail or messages, press the Message button.

You must make additional arrangements to access Emergency Services. It is your responsibility to purchase SIP-compliant Internet telephone service, properly configure the GRP2601W to use that service, and periodically test your configuration to confirm that it works as you expect. It is also your responsibility to purchase traditional wireless or landline telephone services to access Emergency Services.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Please DO NOT power cycle the GRP2601W during system boot up or firmware upgrade. You may corrupt firmware images and cause the unit to malfunction.
  • Use only the power adapter included in the GRP2601W package. Using an alternative non-qualified power adapter may possibly damage the unit.
