IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using your kettle, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Read all instructions before using.

  1. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle.
  2. Do not immerse cord, plug, kettle or base in water or other liquid.
  3. Close supervision is necessary when this kettle is used by or near children.
  4. Place the kettle on a dry, flat, stable surface.
  5. Do not place the kettle on or near heat sources such as stovetops, microwave oven, heated oven, radiators, etc.
  6. Do not use the kettle if it is malfunctioning, or if any part, including the base, cord, or plug, is damaged in any way. Do not try to repair the kettle. Contact Consumer Support.
  7. Using accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire electric shock, or injury.
  8. Do not use outdoors.
  9. Do not use the kettle for other than intended use.
  10. Unplug the kettle when it is not being used and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
  11. Do not fill above the MAX water level. If the Kettle is over-filled, there is a risk that boiling water may be ejected or leak.
  12. To avoid scalding, always make sure the lid is securely closed while the kettle is operating. Do not cover the spout or the openings on the lid while the kettle is in use,
  13. To disconnect, use the On/Off Switch o turn the kettle off, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.

Notes On The Cord

  1. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces.
  2. Your kettle has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other), which fits into a polarized outlet only one way. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. If the plug does not fit, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, do not use the plug in that outlet. Do not bypass this safety feature.
  3. A short power-supply cord is provided with your kettle to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord,
  4. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.If an extension cord is used:
    • The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
    • The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

Electric Power

  1. Before plugging the kettle into the wall outlet, check that the electrical circuit is not overloaded with other appliances.
  2. If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your kettle may not operate properly. Operate it on a separate electrical circuit

Anti-Scald

  1. The body of kettle become hot during and after heating, please use the handle for lifting, carrying and pouring kettle.
  2. When pouring hot water, tilt the kettle slowly to control the flow of pouring. Pouring too quickly could result in water coming out of the lid and cause scald occurred.
  3. Pour all hot water from the kettle before opening the lid to refill.

High Altitude User

At higher elevations, water boils at a lower temperature. If the altitude of your live place exceed 2000 meter, your kettle may not shut off properly. Close supervision is necessary when the kettle is used.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR KETTLE

Before First Use

  1. Remove all packaging from your kettle and its accessories, including any temporary stickers.
  2. Set the base on a dry, flat, steady surface. Plug cord into wall outlet.
  3. Fill the kettle with water to the “MAX” level line, then put the lid on the kettle with vent holes facing towards handle and place kettle back on its base. Figure1.1812)
  4. Press ON/OFF switch, the indicator light will turn on.
  5. The kettle will automatically turn off once it has finished boiling the water. 6.
  6. Allow it to cool, then pour out the water. Rinse thoroughly 2-3 times with cold water.

Note: Do not drink the water that is boiled during this test

Boiling Water

  1. Add at least one cup/237ml of filtered water to the kettle. Do not fill above the “MAX” level line. The max capacity of this kettle is 1000ml. (Figure 12

  2. Place the lid on the kettle. Wipe any water from the outside of the kettle and place the kettle back on the base.

  3. Plug the base into the wall outlet. 4

  4. Press ON/OFF switch, the indicator light will turn on, Figure 13/

  5. The kettle will automatically turn off once it has finished boiling the water

Note:

  • You can stop the heating process by flipping the On/Off Switch back up while the kettle is operating.
  • This kettle has a dry-run safety feature. If there is no water inside the kettle, it will automatically turn off to prevent the heating plate from overheating.
  • If the kettle overheats, fill it with cold water and wait for 2 minutes before using again.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

  1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool before cleaning
  2. Wipe the kettle and base with a soft, damp cloth,
  3. Dry the kettle and the base thoroughly after cleaning.

Note: Never immerse kettle or power base in water

Descaling

Scale is a naturally occurring buildup of mineral deposits caused by impurities in water or use of hard water. You should descale the kettle at least once a week if you use it frequently. Regular descaling will increase the service life of the kettle, allowing it to boil water faster with less energy.

  1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool, pour out all water.
  2. Fill the kettle with a mixture of half white vinegar and half water to the “MAX” marking, or squeeze half a lemon into the kettle with 2 US cups/473 ml of water
  3. Leave to soak for at least 30 minutes. Boil the mixture.
  4. Pour out the mixture, then wipe off any remaining scale with a non-abrasive cloth, sponge, or cleaning brush.
  5. Repeat as needed.
  6. Empty Kettle and rinse with fresh water. Let dry thoroughly.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Questions Explanation/Solutions
Kettle will not turn ON
  • Make sure the plug is securely inserted into the outlet
  • Insert the plug into a different outlet for checking·   
  • Reset the circuit breaker if necessary·
  • Check if there is foreign between the kettle and base

Kettle will not Shut off|

  • Please fill the kettle with at least one cup of water (8 US fl.oz / 237m11.
  • Make sure the lid of kettle is placed properly.·       Make sure you not use the kettle at high altitude place that exceed 2000 meter

Kettle is taking longer than usual to boil|

  • You added more water than usual or used ice water.
  • The lid of the kettle is not placed properly
  • Plug the kettle into an independent outlet.
  • The kettle has a limescale problem. Please follow the instruction of Descaling to descale.

There are yellow mark or rust dots on the heating plate|

  • The yellow mark or rust dots are caused by the limescale problem.
  • is a common problem in hard water areas, where the higher concentration of magnesium and calcium leads to limescale
  • Please follow up the instruction of Descaling to descale

WARRANTY

The One-Year Limited Warranty is valid for products purchased from our Faldetta only, starting from the date of original retail purchase against defects in quality and materials under normal, non-commercial use. According to the requirements outlined in this instruction manual, subject to the following conditions and exclusions.

The repair or replacement of your Fabuletta appliance if your Fabuletta appliance is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within one year of purchase or delivery (if any part is no longer available or out of manufacture, Fabuletta will replace it with a functional replacement part). This warranty provides, at no extra cost to you, all labor and parts necessary to ensure your machine is in proper operating condition during the warranty period.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Under your Faldetta guarantee, Pauletta shall not be liable for costs of repair or replacement of a product incurred as a result of:
Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or handling of the Pauletta appliance which is not in accordance with this Pauletta Operating Manual. Machines purchased from an unauthorized dealer. Use of parts and accessories other than those produced or recommended by Pauletta. Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized parties or agents, Use of the machine other than for normal domestic purposes within the United States, e.g. for commercial or rental purposes.
