Controller Setup
Battery Installation

Locate the battery door on the back of the controller. Unscrew and remove the door.

Install 3 x AA batteries.
Note the correct polarity. -
Re-install the battery door. 3 x AA 1.5v alkaline batteries (not included) are required.
How to Unfold
To unfold your ALLY, pull the folding arms away from the body. The arms rotate out and will make a ‘clicking’ noise when deployed. Push the arms back in to turn ALLY into a portable drone! Do not force the arms, and be gentle when moving them. Your drone cannot fly in the folded position.
Phone Holder
The ALLY’s controller has a built-in controller holder. To unfold this, pull
up from the bottom of your controller. You can slide the top of the controller
holder to adjust for phone size. You do not need to use your phone to fly the
ALLY.
Getting Started
Charging the Battery
- Find a clean flat surface, avoiding areas where small parts can be lost. Turn the drone upside down to locate the battery.
- Push down the safety release button, and slide out to remove the battery. Charge the battery with only the provided USB cable. Charging should take around 120 minutes.
- Re-install the battery on the bottom of the drone.
Calibrating and Pairing
Make sure your drone is on a flat, level surface
Controller Setup
Download the App
- Disconnect from your WiFi network.
- Look for the mobile hotspot LITEHAWK ALLY-xxxxxxxx under ‘Settings>WiFi*.
- Enjoy Flying! Welcome to the world of LITEHAWK!
- The app and/or mobile device are not required to fly. The app and mobile device are only needed if
- you wish to take photos and videos with the onboard camera.
- If you lose connection to your mobile hotspot, you will still be able to fly your drone with your controller. The controller range is farther than the hotspot range.
- The app is available in the following languages: English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean,
- German, Italian, Spanish, Russian.
