Fitting Assembly with Boston EHW194 and EHW094 Hose

Hose Assembly Instructions

Socketless, FD83, and UQD Connectors
To Assemble:

  1. Cut the hose to the required length with a sharp knife. The oil inside of the hose and outside of the SOCKETLESS nipple liberally.
  2. Push hose on fitting until hose end bottoms underneath protective cap as shown. For quantity production, use a SOCKETLESS fitting assembly machine.

To Disassemble:

  1. Slit the hose lengthwise from the protective cap to the end of the nipple.
  2. Bend the hose, then snap the hose off with a quick tug.

FD83 and UQD Series Hose Assembly Instructions for Quick
Disconnect Coupling with Boston EHW094 & EHW194 Hose
To Assemble:

  1. Cut the hose to the required length with a sharp knife. The oil inside of the hose and outside nipple liberally.
  2. Push the hose on the coupling hose barb until the hose end touches the flat surface of the coupling body.

To Disassemble:

  1. Slit the hose lengthwise from the edge of the coupling body to the end of the barb.
  2. Bend the hose, then snap the hose off with a quick tug.
