REMOVING/INSTALLING THE CUTTING BLADE
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY, READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE IN-STRUCTIONS, THE OPERATOR’S MANUALS PACKAGED WITH YOUR MOWER, AND ALL LABELS ON YOUR MOWER, BATTERY PACKS, AND CHARGER. Always unplug the charger and remove the battery packs from the charger or mower before performing any maintenance. Never disassemble the mower, battery pack or charger. Contact a MILWAUKEE service facility for ALL repairs.
- Remove battery packs.
- Turn the mower on its side.
- Wedge a block of wood between the blade and the mower deck to prevent the blade from turning.
- Remove the blade nut by turning it counterclockwise (as viewed from bot-tom of mower) using a 18 mm wrench or socket.
- Remove the blade nut, washer, shear plate, blade, blade motor fan, and spacer.
- Install new blade. The circle and triangle holes of the blade must align onto the circle and triangle posts of the blade motor fan. The shear plate edges must wrap around the blade.
- Tighten the blade nut to 313-347 in.lbs, using a torque wrench.
