Product Usage Instructions
Preparation
- Take off the dust cover and ensure the bottom of the suction cup is clean and undamaged.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly and ensure it is dry, level, and free of debris.
- Avoid using on surfaces like natural marble, old tile, frosted glass, etc.
Mounting the Suction Cups:
- Press the suction cup to adhere to the surface.
- Push the air pump inward until fully locked in place.
- Repeat for all suction cups in appropriate positions.
Attaching Magic Arms and Half Ball Head:
- Insert the magic arm with anti-off pin.
- Lock the NATO clamp securely in place.
- Install the Half Ball Head and adjust to the desired position.
Installing Camera and Accessories:
- Attach the Quick Release Plate to the camera cage.
- Insert the camera onto the Half Ball Head and lock securely.
- Fine-tune the camera position and lock in place.
Attaching Lens Support
- Install the Y-shaped lens support onto the magic arm end.
- Connect the lens support with the magic arm and lock onto the suction cup.

Thank you for purchasing SmallRig products.
Warnings
- Please read this User Manual carefully.
- The 4-Arm Suction Cup Camera Mount Kit, when adhering on a still object, has a tested maximum horizontal suction of 120 kg and maximum vertical suction of 30 kg. Please check suction force every 24 hours.
- It is recommended, when adhering on a vehicle, the 4-Arm Suction Cup Camera Mount Kit work with a cable tether and bear no more than 5kg. Please run the vehicle smoothly at a speed of below 80km/h and check suction force every 2 hours.
- Suitable for dry, flat, glossy, solid surfaces.Not for: painted surfaces, natural marble, old tiles, breathable wallpaper, diatom mud walls, unpainted wood, frosted glass, other rough or breathable materials.
- Suitable Temperature -20°C to 60°C.
- When the white marking line shows, it means vacuum loss. Push the air pump until 100% vacuum pressure.
- This product is not dustproof and waterproof, please do not use it in water.
- Protect the product from falling to the ground or strong impact.
- Do not place the product near combustible or corrosive solutions.
- Do not disassemble the product by yourself to avoid malfunction due to improper operation.

- Failure to use the product in accordance with the manual or failure to meet the specified working and storage conditions will be considered a violation of use.
ASSEMBLY
- Overview of the components.
- Take off the dust cover before use, and check the bottom of the suction cup to ensure it is clean, intact, and undamaged.
- Before use, clean the surface thoroughly and make sure that it is dry, level, free of debris, and firmly secured.
- Identify surfaces such as natural marble surfaces, old tile surfaces, breathable wallpaper surfaces, diatomaceous earth wall surfaces, unpainted wooden surfaces, frosted glass surfaces, and other rough or breathable material surfaces that cannot be used.
- Press the suction cup with one hand and push the air pump inward with the other hand. When the white marking line on the air pump is only partially retracted, it indicates that the suction is incomplete. Please continue pressing the air pump until it is tightly locked in place.
- Keep pushing the air pump inward until it can no longer be pushed in. The white marking line is invisible, indicating that the air pump has reached the shortest length and is ready for use.
- Please follow steps 5 and 6 to install the remaining suction cups in appropriate positions.
- Insert the magic arm from the end with anti-off pin.
- The locking knob at the end of the magic arm’s NATO clamp is pullable. If there is any interference of the suction cup during the locking process, you can pull up the locking knob at the NATO clamp end and push it to an angle where there is no interference until it locks securely in place.
- Repeat step 9 and lock up the remaining magic arms
- After unlocking the side knob of the Half Ball Head, press the anti-off pin and remove the Quick Release Plate.
- Turn one end of the magic arm’s NATO clamp knob towards the bottom of the Half Ball Head, then insert the Half Ball Head from the end with the anti-off pin. Finally, lock the end with NATO clamp.
- Follow step 12 to install the remaining NATO clamps of magic arms.
- After installing the Half Ball Head, unlock the magic arm, adjust the Half Ball Head to the horizontal position, and then lock the magic arm.
- Install the Quick release plate onto the camera cage (it is recommended to use it with “SmallRig cage”, only one screw can be locked at the bottom of the camera, which may lead a risk of deflection!)
- Press the anti-off pin of the Half Ball Head, insert the camera, and lock up the base of the Half Ball Head.
- Unlock the Half Ball Head, fine-tune the camera to a horizontal position, and then lock the PTZ dome camera.
- Install the Y-shaped lens support (recommended for use with larger and longer lenses) onto the magic arm end of the 1/4 “-20 interface.
- Connect the lens support with the magic arm, and then lock onto the suction cup.
- Adjust the lens support to the bottom of the lens and lock the magic arm.
- Pass a magic sticker through the Y-shaped lens support and wrap around the lens to make the lens and the Y-shaped support well fitted.
- Attach a safety rope to the cage.
- Lock another safety rope onto the Half Ball Head.
- Lock the other end of the above two safety ropes onto the vehicle, and wrap and tight up as shown in the figure.
- Finally, manually check the entire unit to ensure that the white marking line of the suction cup is retracted, and all of the suction cups are firmly attached, and the unit is steadily connected. Besides, it is recommended to check the status of the unit every 2 hours.
- Mount the dust covers to prolong the life of the suction cups.
- Pack all the accessories in the box for future use.
