IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS

This exercise equipment is designed for multi-purpose workouts. Before you assemble or operate this equipment please carefully read through the precautions and instructions as follows:

  1. Inspect the equipment and lock the seat and the backrest before use. DO NOT use it, if it appears to be damaged, and please report the issue to RitFit immediately.
  2. Have a medical examination and consult your physician before exercise. This is especially important for people over 35 or those with preexisting health problems.
  3. Always keep children under 13 and pets away from the equipment. DO NOT leave the children unattended near the equipment.
  4. Place the machine on a flat surface with enough space for mounting, dismounting, and using. DO NOT use the equipment near waters or outdoors.
  5. Always wear appropriate clothing for workouts. DO NOT wear long clothing or other clothing that could be caught into the equipment. Running or training shoes are required when using the equipment.
  6. Always do stretches to properly warm-up before using the equipment.
  7. For your safety, always ensure at least two meters of free space in all directions around this product while exercising. DO NOT place sharp object around the equipment.
  8. Disabled people must use the equipment with the presence of a guardian or physician.
  9. The equipment is only to be used by one person at a time.
  10. Regularly examine the adjustable exercise bench, especially for its easily damaged or worn parts. If this bench fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, please contact RitFit Support Team to replace the defective components within 365 days of your purchase date. DO NOT use the equipment until it is repaired. Contact support@ritfitsports.com for any assistance. This warranty does not apply if the adjustable bench is used for commercial purposes.
  11. The product is intended to be used in clean dry condition. You should avoid keeping it in the excessively cold or damp environment as this may lead to corrosion and other related problems that are beyond our control.

GENERAL INFORMATION

This exercise bench was designed and manufactured to optimize users’ workout performance and minimize adjustment or set-up time for users. The Seat Pad Assembly was designed to lower a user’s hips and elevate the knees when doing incline bench workouts. This allows the user to sit more comfortably while keeping the feet on the floor. The margin between both cushions has also been minimized, providing users more comfort, and there are no hinges or metal parts to straddle. Users can change the pad position from flat to incline with only two adjustments.

Whenever changing the bench to the incline position always set the Seat Pad Pivot Arm to the position shown in the manual. Set the Seat Pad Assembly as shown before adjusting to the desired angle of the Back Pad. When changing from an incline position to flat, remember to lower the Back pad first, then raise the Seat Pad Assembly to the flat position.

Care and Maintenance

  1. Lubricate moving parts with light oil periodically.
  2. Inspect the machine each time before using the equipment.
  3. The machine can be cleaned using a damp cloth and mild non-abrasive detergent.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT

We have assembled the majority of the bench for you. Only three more steps need to be taken care of to accomplish the assembly, and it should take you no more than 10 minutes. The following figures illustrate the detail of assembling steps.

STEP 1

  • Fasten the REAR LEG TUBE and the FRONT LEG TUBE to the BENCH FRAME as shown in the picture.
  • Place the REAR LEG TUBE tightly against the BENCH FRAME. Align the holes of the REAR LEG TUBE and BENCH FRAME. Insert two M10x75MM bolts, washers and nuts.
  • Place the FRONT LEG TUBE tightly against the BENCH FRAME. Align the holes of the FRONT LEG TUBE and BENCH FRAME. Insert two M10x 90MM bolts, washers and nuts.
  • Tighten all the bolts and nuts with provided wrenches.

STEP 2

  • Attach the BACK PAD SUPPORT FRAME with the BENCH FRAME using one M10x75MM bolts, washers and nuts.
  • Attach the BACK PAD ASSEMBLY with the BENCH FRAME using one M10x75MM bolt, washer and nut.
  • Insert two RED CAPS as shown in the picture, covering the end of the BACK PAD SUPPORT FRAME.

STEP 3

  • Install the seat pad pivot of the seat pad with the BENCH FRAME using one Washer and Nut, install the SEAT PAD with the BENCH FRAME using two PAD BOLT.RITFIT-PWB02-Adjustable-Exercise-Bench-fig-6
  • Please note that if you would like to adjust to a flat position, always lock the seat pad pivot arm with the SEAT PAD as shown in picture A, otherwise the SEAT PAD would be slightly inclined as shown in picture B.

  1. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of the weight bench are adequately informed of all precautions.
  2. Before beginning any exercise program, consult your physician. This is especially important for persons over age 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems.
  3. The weight bench is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are given supervision or instruction about use of the weight bench by someone responsible for their safety.
  4. Use the weight bench only as described in this manual.
  5. The weight bench is intended for home use only. Do not use the weight bench in any commercial, rental, or institutional setting.
  6. Keep the weight bench indoors, away from moisture and dust. Do not put the weight bench in a garage or covered patio, or near water.
  7. Place the weight bench on a level surface, with enough clearance around the weight bench to mount, dismount, and use the weight bench. To protect the floor or carpet from damage, place a mat under the weight bench.
  8. Inspect and properly tighten all parts each time the weight bench is used. Replace any worn parts immediately.
  9. Keep children under age 13 and pets away from the weight bench at all times.
  10. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.
  11. Always wear athletic shoes for foot protection while using the weight bench.
  12. Always place the same amount of weight on both ends of your barbell. While adding or removing weights, always keep some weight on both ends of your barbell to prevent the barbell from tipping. Always secure weights with your spring collars.
  13. Before you use the weight rests, make sure that the weight rests are properly attached to the uprights. In addition, make sure that the spotters are properly attached to the uprights.
  14. Always make sure that the locking pin is fully inserted into the seat frame and into the pivot bracket before you use the weight bench.
  15. Always exercise with a partner. Your partner should be ready to catch your barbell if you cannot complete a repetition.
  16. Over exercising may result in serious injury or death. If you feel faint, if you become short of breath, or if you experience pain while exercising, stop immediately and cool down.

WHAT IS COVERED

This RitFit exercise equipment is warranted to be free of all defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser for the specific items and duration listed:

  • 3 years on structural frame.
  • 90 days on upholstery and any items not specified.
  • 1 year for rust or corrosion of structural frame. Scratches or scrapes where the subsurface of the unit has been exposed must have been properly repaired by the customer.

RitFit will ship to you at our expense, any repair parts covered by the warranty as stated. If the product is deemed not repairable by RitFit authorized personnel, we reserve the right to replace any or all of the product at our option within the stated warranty period.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Any failures or damage caused by unauthorized service, misuse, accident, negligence, improper assembly or installation, debris resulting from any construction activities in the products location, alterations or modifications without written authorization by RitFit, or by failure on your part to use, operate, and maintain the product as set out in Users Manual. All terms of this warranty are void if this product is used for commercial use.

If you received a DEFECTIVE or WRONG product, RitFit will arrange the reshipment for you and cover the shipping expense. More return terms and policies can be found on www.ritfitsports.com.

WORKOUT GUIDELINES

NECK EXERCISE

  • Tilt your head to feel the tension in your neck. Slowly drop your head down to your chest in a semi-circle and then turn your head to the other side. You will feel a comfortable tension in your neck again. You can repeat this exercise alternately several times.

EXERCISES FOR THE SHOULDER AREA

  • Lift the left and right shoulders alternately or both shoulders simultaneously.

ARM STRETCHING EXERCISES

  • Stretch the left and right arms alternately towards the ceiling. Feel the tension in your left and right side. Repeat this exercise several times.

EXERCISES FOR THE UPPER THIGH

Support yourself by placing your hand on the wall, then reach down behind you and lift up your right or left foot as close to your buttocks as possible. Feel a comfortable tension in your front upper thigh. Maintain this position for 30 seconds if possible and repeat this exercise 2 times for each leg.

INSIDE UPPER THIGH

  • Sit on the floor and place your feet in such a way that your knees are facing outwards.
  • Pull your feet as close as possible to your groin. Now press your knees carefully downwards. Maintain this position for 30-40 seconds if possible.

TOUCH TOES

  • Bend your trunk slowly forwards and try to touch your feet with your hands. Reach down as far as possible to your toes. Maintain this position for 20-30 seconds if possible.

EXERCISES FOR THE KNEES

  • Sit on the floor and stretch out your right leg. Bend your left leg and place your foot on your right upper thigh. Now try to reach your right foot with your right arm. Maintain this position for 30-40 seconds if possible.

EXERCISES FOR THE CALVES/ACHILLES TENDON

  • Place both hands on the wall and support your full body weight.
  • Then move your left leg backwards and alternate it with your right leg.
  • This stretches the back of the leg.
  • Maintain this position for 30-40 seconds if possible.
