KMINA Forearm Crutches for Adults
The KMINA Comfort Crutches are sturdy crutches made of aluminum that serve as a support for moving around. They are designed to be used by people who have a physical impairment, who are convalescing or undergoing rehabilitation for an injury, and who need extra support or help when walking.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
- Stand on a flat surface and let your arm hang down naturally by your side.
- Slide the aluminum tube until the crutch is at the correct height.
- Set the crutch height so the arms will be slightly bent over the handle (no more than 15º) and the height of the handle is in the level of the greater trochanter (Fig 1.).
- Place the height adjustment clip, to start using the crutches.
FEATURES
- It has 11 adjustments, the minimum height is 36” (up to the handle 28”) and the maximum is 47” (up to the handle 39”).
- The rubber end used in these crutches is for tubes from 11/16’’ to 3/4’’.
- The weight of each crutch is approx. 1.3 lb.
- Aluminum tubes. Elbow and grip in polypropylene (PP) and thermoplastic rubber (TPE) in the soft part. Caoutchouc end tips. Steel and polypropylene pin.
WARNINGS
Do not use this equipment without first reading and understanding these instructions. If needed, contact a healthcare professional, dealer or technical personnel before attempting to use, otherwise, an injury may occur.
Before using, make sure that:
- The handle covers are well-adjusted and do not slip out of place.*
- All the pieces are well-adjusted. Nothing is unadjusted or uneven and there are no cracks in the metal.
- You do not have any disability or are under the influence of any medicine, etc., that a medical professional or therapist would deem to be in conflict with the safe use of the product.
When using, make sure that:
- If you use two crutches, ensure they are both set to the same height and all the pieces are well adjusted.
- In the event of a sudden accident or shock, do not hold the crutches. Release your hands and place them on the ground.
- The maximum weight capacity for this crutch should not exceed 275 lb.
- You have adjusted the height correctly.
- Try and avoid potential risks and hazards that would put your safety in danger (e.g., slippery surfaces, irregular surfaces, and objects on the ground).
- Using these crutches does not eliminate the potential risk of falling.
- Inspect the crutch tip to check for any wear or damage.
- Although these crutches have been designed to be more comfortable for the patient, use them always with care.
- These crutches should be kept clean at all times. We recommend regularly washing the handle covers using mild soap and warm water. Dry with a clean and dry cloth.*
- If required, only use authentic parts supplied by KMINA or an approved stockist.
- Take note of the instructions for maintenance and care. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper maintenance/care.
- Any serious incident related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and patient are established.
The product can be cleaned and disinfected with commercially available products, as well as with a damp cloth. The padding can be hand-washed or machine washed in cold water. Always keep the product clean and wash it regularly.
Only K10003, K10004, and K10007 have handle covers.
