The KMINA PRO Rollator is lightweight, smart and easy to use. Designed to be a durable walker it is manufactured from painted aluminium tubing with four solid tyre wheels. It incorporates a storage bag, locking brakes and a tray. It also has height adjustable handles and can be folded for storage or transportation. This rollator can be used by those with poor balance and / or weak legs, and by people who have lost mobility in one hand.KMINA K10009 Pro

FOLDING SYSTEM

  1. When unfolding, open the rollator frame fully, push down on the tray frame and handle to lock in position. The rollator is completely opened with a clear click. To ensure it is fully open, support the handle with one hand and press down on the tray with the other hand.
  2. When folding, depress frame release yellow button. Then push rear legs towards front legs to fold the frame.

The tray simply sits on the frame above the bag. Ensure that the tray is firmly in place before use and do not exceed the maximum load.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The handles have five settings at 35 mm intervals.To determine the correct height of the handle:

  1. Stand straight behind the rollator with your shoulder relaxed and arms slightly bent at 15º.
  2. Set the handle height to be level with your wrists using the securing red clip.

BRAKE SYSTEM

When the rollator is in motion brakes work normally by pushing the brake cable towards the handlebars.

  1. Lock: Grasp both handles and press on the red brake lock to lock the rollator. It is correctly locked with a clear click.
  2. Unlock: Press on the red brake lock to unlock. It is correctly unlocked with a clear click.

The pressure needed to brake can be adjusted by turning the brake adjustment located at the top of the brake shoe on the inside of the frame.

  1. Turning the knob anti-clockwise increases the pressure needed to brake by moving the brake shoe nearer the wheel and compressing the spring.
  2. Turning the knob clockwise decreases the pressure need to brake.

WARNINGS

  • This is a walking device for compensation and improvement respectively of restricted ability of walking. This rollator can be used indoors and outdoors.

  • Ensure the Rollator is fully open an secured in the correct position before use.

  • Ensure the handle is set to the correct height and fully secured. Test the Rollator for stability before applying full weight to the handles.

  • Test the brake mechanism before use. When the wheels are locked, the brake pad should prevent the wheels from turning. If the wheels turn while the brakes are locked, refer to adjusting the brake pressure section. When the brakes are released, the wheels should turn freely.

  • The Rollator is a walking aid only and should not be used as a transportation device. Do not allow to sit on the Rollator.

  • Use only on even and solid surfaces, never on an incline or uneven ground.

  • Do not leave the Rollator unattended without locking the brakes.

  • Do not stop, turn or reverse on a ramp or incline. Do not make sharp turns.

  • Use tray only for small, light, but not for pointed or hot objects. Do not exceed the maximum load: 5 kg.

  • Use basket only for transport of objects and do not exceed the maximum load: 5 kg.

  • Do not exceed the maximum user weight: 100 kg.

  • Do not expose the product to temperatures above 40ºC for a long time, otherwise the aluminum tubes cover heat, which could lead to burns.

  • The Rollator should be inspected before each use to ensure it is free from damage and excessive wear. If you do find wear or damage to your Rollator, DO NOT USE.

  • Keep the Rollator clean by wiping with a damp cloth on regular basis. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.

  • KMINA warrants that the Rollator is free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty shall remain in effect for 2 years from the date of original consumer purchase. The warranty does not extend to parts that are exposed to natural wear and tear that will require periodic replacement such as brakes, wheels, handgrips and bags. This warranty does not cover the following:
    – Replacement parts supplied by anyone other than KMINA or the stockist.
    – Any failure of the unit during the warranty period if the failure is not caused by defect in material or workmanship or if the failure is caused by unreasonable use.
    – KMINA is not liable for incidental or consequential injury or damage property.
    Should it be necessary to return the rollator, it is essential that it is adequately packed to protect it in transit, preferably in its original packaging, otherwise KMINA cannot accept any responsibility for transit damage to the unit.

  • This does not affect your statutory rights.

  • Please retain these instructions for future reference.

  • Any serious incident related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and patient are established.

  • Keep your walker clean by using a damp cloth. Do not use abra sive cleaning materials.
