- Q: How do I remove the coinslide assembly from the washer?
- A : Follow these steps:
- Disconnect power from the washer if removing the coinslide assembly from a metercase.
- Unlock and remove the service door on top of the metercase.
- Disconnect the 4-pin 2-wire connector in the metercase.
- Remove the coinslide securing bolt (5/16) from inside the metercase.
- Lift up on the coinslide assembly and pull the entire coinslide mechanism out of the metercase.

Installation Instructions
Removing the Coinslide Assembly from Washer
- Disconnect power from washer if removing the coinslide assembly from a metercase.
- Unlock and remove the service door on the top of the metercase.
- Disconnect the 4-pin 2-wire connector in the metercase.
- Remove the coinslide securing bolt (5/16”) from inside the metercase.
- Lift up on the coinslide assembly and pull the entire coinslide mechanism out of the metercase. See Figure 1.
Changing the Vend Price on Coinslide Mechanism
- Take both springs off their hooks (no need to remove the springs from the coinslide body). See Figure 2.
- Turn the coinslide over and remove both screws from the bottom of the coinslide extension. See Figure 3.
- Remove the spring retainer bracket. See Figure 4.
- Grasp and pull the slide tray out of the coinslide body. See Figure 5.
- Remove screw from extra insert retainer and set the extra insert retainer and screw to side for use later. See Figure 6.
- Remove the inserts from the storage tray.
- Turn slide tray over and remove three screws from active insert retainer. See Figure 7.
- Lift and remove functional or blank inserts and exchange them as needed to obtain vend price. See Figure 8.
- IMPORTANT: All insert positions must be loaded with a functional or blank insert.
- Reinstall the active insert retainer. Illustrated slide set for $1.25. See Figure 9..
- Turn the slide tray over and load all unused functional or blank inserts into the extra insert storage tray and reinstall the extra insert retainer with the screw previously removed in step 5. See Figure 10.
- Turn the slide tray over and insert it into the coinslide body. See Figure 11.
- Align coinslide assembly over spring retainer bracket as shown. Insert the bend of the switch bracket into the slot in the spring retainer bracket. See Figure 12.
- Rotate other end of spring retainer bracket up to the coinslide assembly and align holes on bottom of spring retainer bracket with holes on coinslide. See Figure 13
- Reinstall both screws into the spring retainer bracket securing it to the coinslide assembly. See Figure 14.
- Hook the springs back onto spring retainer bracket. See Figure 15.
- Test the coinslide with coins to make sure slide is functional, be sure to notice the switch actuation.
Installation of Correctly Vended Coinslide
- Insert coinslide assembly into the coinslide bracket mounted in the metercase.
- Mount coinslide assembly onto the coinslide adapter bracket and force it down into place.
- Reinstall the 5/16” coinslide mounting bolt.
- Connect 4-pin 2-wire coinslide wire harness to receiving connector in the metercase.
- Check coinslide operation to make sure it will start a washer cycle.
- Secure the service door on the metercase.
