WARNING
The warnings and precautions discussed in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors that cannot be built into this product but must be supplied by the operator.

Always Use Common Sense

  • It is not possible to cover every conceivable situation you can face. Always exercise care and use your common sense. If you get into a situation where you feel unsafe, stop and seek expert advice. Contact your dealer, service agent, or an experienced user. Do not attempt any task you feel unsure of!
  • Do not let familiarity gained from the frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.

Vacuum Specific Safety

  • Check before the operation that the local power supply is the same as what is specified on the rating label.
  • Do not use the machine in potentially combustible and explosive areas in case of sparking from the motor case.
  • Do not create a jam at the air inlet mouth. This can cause case temperatures to rise and damage the motor.
  • Do not pick up combustible and explosive objects such as burning cigarettes, gasoline, etc.
  • Do not pick up sharp objects.
  • Do not pick up objects which can easily stick to the filter, such as powders. They will block the ventilation and damage the motor.
  • Keep the vacuum upright or you risk water going into the casing and motor and damaging it.
  • Do not use this machine as a pump as you can damage the motor.
  • Always turn off the machine and unplug it when you are finished using or maintaining it.
  • Keep this vacuum away from strong sunlight and high temperatures as the plastic may become distorted.
  • Do not twist, walk on, or drag the vacuum around by the hose, as this could risk damaging the flexible hose.

ASSEMBLY

Hose Connection/Removal

  • Insert the hose connector into the air inlet and rotate clockwise to lock it into place.
  • To remove the hose; twist the connector anti-clockwise and pull it out from the inlet.

Blowing Function

  • Insert the hose connector into the blowing port, as shown in the figure below, for when you want to use the blower.

Filter Cleaning Function

Block the suction port with a single hand while pressing the button located on the top. The airflow will come through the filter and shake the dust off it. This will help to avoid blocking, and to clean the surface of the filter.
NOTE: This function only works to avoid the blocking of filters. The filters should still be cleaned properly after heavy use.

Power Socket

  • When this Vacuum model is plugged in, the socket works as a power supply. You can connect an appliance to it.

WARNING

The maximum outlet power of the appliance should not exceed 1000W.

OPERATION

Stages of the Switch

  • I – The device is turned on.
  • O – The device is turned off.
  • Turn the switch to the ON position and the vacuum will start working automatically after a few seconds.
  • Turn the switch OFF and the vacuum will shut down automatically after a few seconds.

Handle with Airflow Adjustment

  • You can adjust the airflow by pushing the sliding block located at the end of the flexible hose, up and down.

Filters

  • When cleaning liquids, please fit the sponge filter on the bracket under the head.

  • When cleaning dust, please fit the HEPA filter on the bracket (after fitting the sponge filter).

  • For cleaning dust, fit the paper bag on the suction port as well, in case of some leakage.

Protective Device

When the water in the vacuum is full, the protective device will activate. The suction power will stop, and the machine will make some noise to indicate that the motor is running at high speed. If this happens, you should cut off all power to the vacuum and clean out the water by opening the drain port.

WARNING
Continuing to use the machine once the protective device is working can damage the motor and/or cause fire.

MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, you must ensure the tool is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
  • Compressed air is the most effective way to clean this tool. Always wear PPE safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.
  • Check the carbon brushes of the machine in the event of excessive sparking. These will need to be replaced by a qualified technician, contact your nearest ToolShed for parts and advice.
  • Ventilation openings and switch levers must be kept clean. DO NOT attempt to clean by inserting pointed objects through openings.
  • Do not use chemicals when cleaning this tool.
  • If you discover any damaged or broken parts, consult your nearest ToolShed for replacements and advice.

Barrel Cleaning

  • After use, or when the barrel is full of dust; which causes a considerable decrease in suction, cut off the power, and clean the dirt in the barrel:
  • Unfasten the locking knobs and lift the top cover.
  • Take off the filter bag and clean away the dust in the barrel.

Filter Cleaning

  • The HEPA filter should be washed with clean, warm water when it is covered in dust.
