SAFETY ADVICES
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE AND SAVE IT FOR ANY FURTHER NEED.
Incorrect operation or usage is likely to cause damage to the appliance and injure the user. Make sure that you follow all safety instructions. Only use this appliance for the purpose for which has been designed; we decline all responsibility in the event of damage due to incorrect use or bad handing.
1. Before use check that the voltage of your wall outlet correspond to the
rated voltage manner.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised.
3. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
if they understand the hazards involved.
4. Children shall not play with the appliance.
5. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8
years.
6. The appliance is not intended to be immersed. Never place it into the
dishwasher.
7. Never let the machine operate while unattended.
8. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
(*).
9. Never use the appliance outdoors and always place it in a dry environment.
10. Always remove the plug from the socket in case of any malfunction, before
filling or after use, or before cleaning.
11. Do not allow the appliance or its supply cord to touch hot surfaces or to
come into contact with any heat sources.
12. To reduce the risk of electric shock, never operate this product with wet
hands.
13. Never touch the hot surface of product. Use the handle only or the
button.
14. Never unplug or move the appliance by pulling the cord. Do not wind the
cord around the appliance or twist it
15. Stand the appliance on a stable, flat surface.
16. Never let the cord of the kettle from table pending.
17. Never use your kettle without water in it. Only use fresh and cold
water.
18. Never fill the water tank beyond the Max. Level. Do not use your kettle
in case of overflowing.
19. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
20. Never put the jug in an oven (including microwave oven) to warm up water.
21. Do not forget that the temperature of water prepared is high, handle with
care the jug to avoid scalding.
22. The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
23. Always set any control to “off” before unplugging from the socket.
24. Make sure the ambient temperature is above 0°C, otherwise the appliance
does not function properly.
25. Always descale the appliance regularly to ensure optimum performance and
prevent malfunction.
26. Make sure that the appliance completely cooled down before cleaning.
27. This kind of appliance cannot worked continuously, it is not a
professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops.
28. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as
it comes into direct contact with food.
29. Regarding the instruction for cleaning surfaces in contact with food
thanks to refer to the below paragraph “cleaning” in manual.
30. Make sure the appliance is unplugged before inserting, removing or
cleaning.
31. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer
or separate remote control system.
32. Never used the appliance :
– If the power cord is damaged
– In case of bad operation
– It has been damaged in any manner
– It has been submerged in water
– If you dropped it
33. Unwind the cord of its flat to avoid the superheating of the appliance.
34. The guarantee can only cover the manufacturing defect and household use.
All deterioration resulting of failure to respect the safety instruction are
not cover by the guarantee.
35. All the appliances are submitted to quality control, some tries are made
with one of them taken at random, that’s why there is sometimes tracks of use.
36. Never try to open the casing yourself.
37. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
– farm houses
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
– bed and breakfast type environments
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

SPECIAL MEASURES
Warning:
– DO NOT remove the lid while the water is boiling.
– Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle
– If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
– Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
– Use only cold water when filling the appliance.
-The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks.
– Insure that the appliance is switched off before removing it from its stand.

FOR THE FIRST USE
Remove the unit and all accessories carefully and paying attention to the
sharp accessories.
Clean with soap and water, bowls and all accessories. Rinse and dry
thoroughly. Clean the outside and inside of the machine cabinet with a damp
cloth and wipe dry.
Before using the machine for the first time it’s better to rinse the inside
kettle.
1. Fill half of the tank of fresh water. (without addendum of any product).
2. Put the switch on ” ON “position The light goes on, showing that water
begins heating up.
3. When boiling, the apparatus goes out automatically
4. Raise the kettle with circumspection and empty water in a sink by watching
out not to splash (risk of scald).
5. The appliance is ready to be used.
USE
1. Unroll the power cord completely.
2. Connect the appliance in a correct socket-outlet
3. Fill the kettle with fresh water ( Do not overfill ! Use the water MAX
level indicator.)
4. Place the kettle on the base.
5. Switch the machine to position “1”. The control lamp on the kettle shows
that the water is heating.
6. When boiling the machine switches off automatically.
7. Take the Kettle and pour genteelly the water in a sink. Take care to avoid
any burn.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the supply socket and fully
cooled down before cleaning.
2. To clean the exterior surfaces, slightly wipe over with a soft damp cloth
and dry thoroughly.
3. To clean the inner walls of the kettle, use a soft damp cloth or a soft
brush to remove the residues
Note: Never use abrasive product
4. To clean the filter, open the lid and pull the filter out from the
interior body, then rinse with running water and dry it thoroughly.
5. Never immerse the jug kettle or its base in water.
6. Dish washer forbidden.
7. The appliance has to be descaled regularly to ensure optimum performance.
The frequency depends on the water hardness and the boiling frequency.
– If you begin to notice the increase of the noise during boiling, or the
kettle switches off before boiled, this indicates that descaling is necessary.
Generally, the descaling should be done in the following periodicity:
With soft water, at least once every 6 months.
With hard water, at least once every 3 months.
– It is highly recommended to use only descaling agent suitable for plastic
kettles.
– Read carefully the instructions of descaling agent then operate the
descaling process step by step.
– After the descaling, rinse the inner of the kettle thoroughly with clean
water.
Note: Never use vinegar as descaling agent. In case of doubt concerning
the water hardness, ask your local tap water company.
STORAGE
1. Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
2. Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of reach from children.
