BEFORE FIRST USE
All parts of the blender must be thoroughly cleaned before being used for the first time. Remove the required length of cable from the cable storage compartment in the base of the blender and connect the device to the mains supply.
OPERATION
-
Make sure that the blender is switched off (control knob is on the “O” setting) before use.
-
Place the food you wish to process into the jug. Do not use the blender without any material inside.
-
Place the jug assembly onto the motor base and turn clockwise until it locks securely. This blender has a safety design, meaning it will not work if the jug is not properly installed on the base. (Fig.1 )
-
Place the lid on the jug and press to secure. Place the measuring cap into the hole in the lid and turn clockwise to lock.
-
Switch on the motor base:
- 1: Low speed for light usage with liquids
- 2: High speed for more solid consistency – for mixing liquids and solid foods
- 0: OFF
- P: For ice crushing, short and powerful impulse movements, and cleaning.
(The switch does not permanently engage in the “P” setting. You must hold the switch in the “P” setting or turn it repeatedly to the “P” setting)
-
When the juicing process is finish, turn the speed switch to “O” position and unplug the power. Clean the appliance in time according to CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
TIPS FOR BLENDING
- To achieve the best results when blending solid ingredients, cut them into small pieces (2 to 3 cm) first, and place small portions into the glass jug one by one instead of a large quantity all at once.
- When mixing solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more and more liquid through the opening in the lid.
- For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the blender in the impulse ( “P” ) mode to prevent the blades from getting stuck.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
- Do not use abrasive detergents, scrub pads, acetone, alcohol, etc.
- After each use, empty the glass jug and fill it with water. Place the glass jug on the motor base and turn the switch several times to the “P” setting. Empty the glass jug and rinse until clean.
- The blade assembly can be unscrewed from the glass jug. Be extremely careful when removing the blades.
- Clean the surface of the motor base with a cloth and sponge dampened with warm, soapy water. Rinse with a dampened cloth or sponge and wipe dry.
