Connection and Settings
Location of the Data Link Connector(DLC)
The DLC (Data Link Connector or Diagnostic Link Connector) is typically a
16-pin connector where diagnostic code readers interface with the vehicle’s
on- board computer. The DLC is usually located 12 inches from the center of
the instrument panel(dash), under or around the driver’s side for most of the
vehicle. If Data Link Connector is not located under the dashboard, a should
be there to tell it’s the location. For some Asian and European vehicles, the
DLC is located behind the ashtray and the ashtray must be removed to access
the connector. If the DLC cannot be found, refer to the vehicle’s service
manual for the location.
Setting

Turn the ignition off.

Locate the vehicle’s 16-pin data link connector(DLC).

Plug the KDIAG OBDII adapter into the vehicle’s DLC.

Turn on the ignition and engine fully.

Turn on KDIAG APP from your device, and click the bluetooth icon from the APP. CAUTION: DONOT PAIR IT from the Phone settings page.
Connect Bluetooth -
Enter “Professional Diag”, you will need to click “Manage Downloads” to download the car data that you want.
KDIAG supports one-click AUTO-VIN or manual selection
The KDIAG will automatically find your vehicle’s VIN code and compare it with
its database to help you quickly enter the diagnostic systems without
selecting car models and year one by one. If it can’t identify the vehicle
information, manual input and selection is also available.

The scan tool is specially designed to work with all OBD lI compliant
vehicles, including control area network (CAN), it is required by EPA that all
1996 and newer vehicles (Cars and light trucks) sold in the United States must
be OBD II compliant and this includes all American, Asian and European
