Using Instructions
Start using the IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE Expanding the wireless conference space
Step 1
- Connect the IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE to the PC/Laptop directly.
Remarks
- If you purchased the IPEVO DUET (1 IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE + 2 IPEVO VOCAL), connection is already pre-paired, so you can skip step 2 and proceed with step 3 directly.
Step 2
Insert the PIN into the first pairing jack (Vocal 1) and long press it for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (indicator flashes), and pair the IPEVO VOCAL that is currently in pairing mode. Wait for the indicator on the IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE to become constantly on, which means that it was paired successfully. Next, insert the PIN into the second pairing jack (Vocal 2) to pair the second IPEVO VOCAL.
Step 3
- Select IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE in the meeting application as the microphone and speaker.
IPEVO VOCAL Instructions
- It is recommended to adjust the IPEVO VOCAL speaker volume to maximum, turn on the AI MIC, and use OMNI omni-directional reception mode.
- Press and hold the mute button on a single IPEVO VOCAL for 3 seconds to mute/unmute all VOCALs connected to the IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE.
- Press the mute button on a single IPEVO VOCAL to mute/unmute a single IPEVO VOCAL.
Please refer to the IPEVO VOCAL instruction manual for details.
Notes
- This product needs to be used with the IPEVO VOCAL AI Beamforming Bluetooth Speakerphone for it to work.
- The maximum connection distance between IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE and VOCAL can reach up to 49 ft / 15 meters (there must be no large objects, such as walls, blocking in between).
- IPEVO 2-VOCAL DONGLE has memory function and can pair automatically when switched on again. If previously paired IPEVO VOCALs cannot connect automatically, please repair such instance by following the instructions in Step 2.
- The optimal reception range for the IPEVO VOCAL is 5.9 ft (180 cm). It is advisable to position another VOCAL within 4.9 – 5.9 ft (150-180 cm), to prevent noise from each unit interfering with the other.
