Maxi Cosi Infant Car Seat Adapter

WARNING
Your child’s safety depends on you. Proper infant car seat adapter use cannot be assured unless you follow these instructions. DO NOT USE THE INFANT CAR SEAT ADAPTER UNTIL YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:

• NEVER leave child unattended.

• For double strollers, always place the car seat in the front adapter before placing another in the back adapter.
  When removing children, always remove the child’s car seat in the back adapter first before removing the child’s in the front. Failure to do so may cause the stroller to become unstable and tip.

• When using this product, to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, infant must always be secured in the infant car seat with the car seat harness. Refer to infant car seat instructions for proper adjustment.

• Make sure the stroller is fully unfolded and the car seat adapter is securely latched before attaching your infant car seat. This prevents finger pinching and injuries caused by stroller collapsing.

How to Use this adapter with your infant car seat

• To ensure your infant car seat is properly installed on the stroller, make sure it is:
  – Facing the person pushing the stroller.
  – Tightly secured to the stroller.

• Only transport infants that are within the size and weight limitations of your infant car seat, as described in the instruction manual provided by the infant car seat manufacturer.

To Attach Infant Car Seat Adapters

1. Find the adapter marked “L”. Align “L” adapter over Left frame hub as shown.
   It is the left side as you are standing behind stroller.
   NOTE: The adapters won’t fit properly if placed on the wrong side.

2. Push “L” adapter down onto the left frame hub until the  button on the hub engages with the adapter. Pull up on the “L” adapter to ensure it is securely attached.

3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for “R” adapter.
   NOTE: To remove adapter, push button on frame hub in, then lift the adapter up.

To Secure Infant Car Seats

If using on a double stroller, keep car seat handle up to avoid interfering with other child.

1. Lock foot brake to keep stroller from rolling.
2. With one hand, grasp the infant car seat handle (in its upright, carrying position). With your other hand, grasp infant car seat near baby’s feet. Gently position the infant car seat above infant car seat adapters so the baby faces the stroller handle.
3. Lower the infant car seat receptors onto the adapters. Push down firmly. Pull up on car seat to ensure it is  securely attached on both sides.

NOTE: If you are using this adapter on a tandem stroller, in combination with our universal adapter (included with most tandems), always put the universal adapter in the mount position closest to the handle to avoid any interference between the car seats.
To Remove Car Seats With Side Release Levers

1. Grip the sides of the car seat and engage the levers / buttons on each side of child seating area.
2. Carefully lift the car seat off the adapters.
   NOTE: Do not try and remove the adapters and car seat together.

To Remove Car Seats With Rear Release Handles

1. Squeeze release handle on rear of car seat and then lift off of adapters using carry handle.

Care & Maintenance

• Clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
• When storing stroller with the infant car seat adapters attached, never stack other items on top of or in it; this may damage the adapters.
