Product Usage Instructions:

Turning On:

1. Connect and plug in the printer.
2. Turn on the printer.

Installing the Ink Cartridges:

1. Open the ink cartridge package.
2. Shake and unpack the cartridge.
3. Remove the yellow tape.
4. Install the cartridge.
5. Press (click) to secure it.
6. Wait for about 2.5 minutes.
7. Close the ink cartridge compartment.
8. Press to confirm installation.

Note: The first ink cartridges installed in the printer will be partly used to charge the print head. These cartridges may print fewer pages compared to subsequent ink cartridges.

Installing the Software:

1. For Mac OS X:
   • Insert the installation CD.
   • Follow the instructions on the screen.
2. For Windows:
   • If no installation screen appears, connect your printer to your PC.
   • Do not connect the USB cable until instructed.
   • If the installation screen appears, click Cancel.
   • Follow the instructions on the screen.

Loading Paper:

1. Open the paper tray.
2. Open and pull out the paper tray extension.
3. Pinch and slide the paper guides to fit the paper size.
4. Click the paper guides to secure them.
5. Load the paper with the printable side facing up.
6. Fit the paper properly.
