Temperature control settings:
Read all garment labels when ironing and ensure the manufacturer’s ironing guidelines are followed. The manufacturers ironing guidelines are often shown by symbols similar to the below:

  • Always check the garment label for ironing instructions before ironing a garment.
  • If the ironing instructions are missing, see the table below.
  • Sort your laundry: Wool with wool, Cotton with cotton etc. Start ironing the fabrics requiring the lowest temperature and progress to the higher ones because the iron heats up quicker than it cools down.
Note: If the article to be ironed consists of various different fabrics, always select the temperature required by the most delicate fabric.

Textile Chart:
IMPORTANT
Read all garment labels when ironing and ensure the manufacturers ironing guidelines are followed. The manufacturers ironing guidelines are often shown by symbols similar to the below:

IRONING LABEL KIND OF TEXTILE FABRICS
Synthetic Acrylic

Polypropylene
Polyurethane
| Synthetic| Polyamide (Nylon) Polyester Viscose(Rayon)
| Silk| Silk
| Wool| Wool
| Cotton Linen| Cotton Linen

Note: If the article to be ironed consists of different fabrics, always select the temperature required by the most delicate fabric.
Ironing tips:

  •  Always check first whether a label with ironing instructions is attached to the article.
  • The iron heats up quicker than it cools down, therefore, you should start ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those made of synthetic fibers.
  • If the fabric consists of various kinds of fibers, you must always select the lowest ironing temperature to iron the composition of those fibers.
  • Silk and other fabrics that are likely to become shiny should be ironed on the inner side.
  • Velvet and other textures that rapidly become shiny should be ironed in one direction with light pressure applied. Always keep the iron moving at any given moment.
  • Pure woolen fabrics (100% wool) may be ironed with the iron set a steam position. Preferably set steam button to the maximum position and use a dry cloth as a mat.

Note: If your woolen fabric becomes shiny while ironing, turn the article inside out and iron it on the reverse side.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Reasons Solution
Not enough heat or too much heat. The temperature dial may not have been

rotated correctly, or it may have been set to the incorrect position. The iron is unplugged.| Set the temperature dial to the correct position and check if the iron is plugged in.

Leaking water from Soleplate.| The temperature dial is not set in steam range.| Set the temperature dial as per steam range.
The heat is still not enough.| ONLY use the Steam Button after the indicator light goes off.

Cleaning &Care

Limescale:
If you live in a particularly hard water area, we recommend using bottled or distilled water.
WARNING: Never pour vinegar or other liquid cleaners for eliminating calcium into water tank.
After ironing:

  1. Disconnect the power supply and empty any water left in the water tank.

  2. Reconnect the power supply and disconnect after the indicator light goes off, this dries the soleplate.
CAUTION: Let the iron completely cool down.

  3. Once the iron has cooled wipe flakes and any other deposits on the soleplate with a damp cloth or a nonabrasive (liquid) cleaner.

  4. Clean the upper part of iron with a damp cloth. Always store the emptied iron horizontally on a stable surface with a cloth protecting the soleplate.

  5. When not in use, store the appliance in a safe, dry place, out of reach of children.

Anti-calk:
The anti-calk function is a permanent system located inside the water tank to eliminate impurities from the water and to reduce the problems connected with limescale build-up. To prolong the efficiency of this system, follow these steps occasionally:

  1. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down.
  2. Locate the water cup that accompanied the iron. Fill it with water 3/4 full. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to water and fill the water tank with this solution.
  3. Leave the solution in the water tank for 15 minutes, shaking occasionally, and then empty it.

IMPORTANT! Do not use the appliance if the surface is wet or damp. Ensure the appliance is completely clean and dry before use and storage.
WARNING: Do not immerse any electrical part of the appliance in water such as motor units or plugs. Please see cleaning section for further instructions.
