Congratulations to you for having the new hoverboard D2! Invented to

transcend transportation and focus on practical movement, this stylish and compact ercele- brates personal and intuitive mobility. The hoverboard D2 is fun to use and easy to ride.It’s both portable and stylish.Experience cutting edge technology as you drive effortlessly along on your way to your destination.

The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the D2 series, release firmware updates, and update this manual at any time. For the latest usermanual, please visit www.imscv.com to download. You could also install the INMOTION App to activate and control your D2F, and share your happiness and moments on that.

**** Always inspect the D2 prior to use. Properly inspecting and maintaining your product can reduce the risk of injury. Always check the battery charge before using the D2. Do not ride the D2 when its battery is low, as indicated by a red indicator light or shaking of the pedals during operation. The D2 may stop operating and cause you to fall.

WARNING: ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET WHEN RIDING. Use an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that fits properly with the chin strap in place and protects the back of your head. Local LAWS may require riders of wheeled products to wear a helmet and other protective gear. Never ride the D2 barefoot or in open—toed shoes or high—heels.
WARNING: Check local laws and regulations to see where and how you may use your D2 legally. Follow all applicable laws for vehicles and pedestrians.
WARNING: Only use the D2 indoors or on completely smooth surfaces. Avoid obstacles and slippery surfaces, which could result in a loss of balance or traction and cause a fall. See the section on Terrain for more guidelines.
WARNING: Do not exceed the maximum weight of 176 pounds (80 kilograms)—in- cluding backpacks and other items that might be carried. Exceeding the weight limit could injure the rider and damage the D2.
WARNING: The D2 should not be ridden by young children. Use your judgment about whether a rider has the necessary coordination, strength and maturity to use the D2. Only children 13 years old or older should be permitted to use the D2.
WARNING: Do not lift the D2 off the ground when the unit is turned on. Do not turn on the D2 in mid—air. These will cause the wheels to spin freely which could result in injury to yourself or damage to things around you

About This Manual

This Manual applies for self-balancing electric vehicles produced by INMOTION Technologies Co., Ltd. INMOTION Hoverboard D2 Serial is a new self-balancing electric scooter for entertainment and fitness that is innovative, funny and intelligent. Just like a part of your body, you can experience a 360° drive drifting freely at airports, stores, leisure places or any other even road.

For your riding safety, please carefully read and understand all the safety warnings and precautions in this manual, which is helpful for you to better control INMOTION Hoverboard D2.

 Introduction

This manual will help you set up and use the D2. It is important that you adhere to all safety warnings and cautions that appear throughout and that you use good judgment when riding. Your hoverboard D2 comes packaged in a high quality corrugated cardboard box for its protection. Please keep this box in case you need to send the D2 back for service or repairs. If you use another box, INMOTION will not be responsiblefor any damage caused during shipping.

Safe Riding Precautions

Requirements

◆Please strictly observe the traffic regulations.

How to Ride INMOTION Hoverboard D2

Preparation Before Riding

Choose a right place before your first ride. You can practice driving D2 in an open indoor or outdoor area that is flat and wide, and covers at least 4m * 4m; no motorcycls, bicycles and other obstacles, no pets, children or something that is distractive. You need a skilled assistant who is familiar with the operation of D2 as well as all the precautions and driving methods described in this manual by your side.
Please wear a helmet and other protective gears to avoid injuries.

 Power on

Press the power switch and it will be successfully powered on after you hear the beep.
D2 will keep balanced by itself, and two LED taillights as well as the battery indicator will be on.

Precautions

Make sure D2 is in a self-balancing state and then you can start to ride it. Put one foot on the pedal first and then put your other foot on the other pedal. The hoverboard will keep balanced when it senses a uniform pressure. If the pedals are out of balance, please readjust the two pedals to make them in the same level.

Get on and Keep Balance

Ask your assistant to stand in front of the hoverboard and hold your hands to help you keep balance, so that you will not lose your balance because of nervousness or wrong posture.
The upper body shall be naturally upright, and the eyes shall look straight ahead. Try to get the other foot off the ground to look for the balance point.

Forward, Backward and Stop

 Climb

Charge

Please use the specific charger to feed your battery. Put the DC plug into the charging port. When the indicator on the charger is red, it means the hoverboard is being charged; when the indicator becomes green, it has been fully charged. You can choose to power on or power off the hoverboard while it’s charging. If you choose to power it on, the battery indicator on the hoverboard will be flashing. The hoverboard is disabled when the battery is on charge.

Battery Indicator

The battery indicator is on the body of D2, which easily indicates the current battery level. When it turns green, there are 100%-70% battery; and yellow and red means 70%-40%, 40%-10% battery left, respectively. When it is flashing in red, there is no more than 10% battery now, please charge your battery timely before use D2.

Maintenance

Clean & Storage

Warranty Coverage

  • For products that meet the warranty conditions, INMOTION provides free repair, replace- ment and return INMOTION will bear the cost of spare parts, the cost for repairing, limited shipping cost, INMOTION won’t bear the cost arising from insurance, customs, local laws or some else extra cost.
