Assembly Instructions

Note: Whenever assembling or disassembling the regulator, ensure that the regulator is not connected to the tank valve.

  1. Open and remove the HP cap (UNF 7/16 thread) from the non-pressurized first-stage regulator.
  2. After checking that the regulator seat and hose O-ring are clean, hand-tighten the HP hose onto the first stage regulator, then use an appropriate wrench or crescent wrench to tighten it carefully without exceeding the recommended torque.

INTRODUCTION

  • Happy! Continuous research and evolution which is carried out in our technical center, together with the Cressi-sub’s already-established reliability fame, has produced products that you just purchased, which allow you to dive comfortably and safely for a long time.
  • This instrument meets those requirements defined by UNI EN 13319:2000 (gauge depth) and UNI EN 250:2014 (gauge pressure – PPE Category III), the latter by EU Regulation 2016/425, which determine marketing terms and conditions minimum safety requirements important for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY

NOTES:
every time assemble or disassemble the regulator, make sure the regulator is not attached to the tank valve. First, open and remove the cover marked HP (7/16″ UNF thread) of the first stage regulator which is not pressurized. Next, after checking that the mount regulators and 0-rings of hoses on the equipment are clean, tighten the device’s HP hose to the first stage regulator by hand, then tighten using a wrench suitable size or crescent wrench, be careful not to exceed the torque tightening.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • NOTE : Before opening the valve tank, check whether the pressure gauge shows zero pressure. After the valve of the tank is open, the pressure gauge must be shown tank pressure correctly.

  • When opening the tank valve, keep your face away pressure gauge yourself and people others, using one hand to protect these movements to avoid risks associated with damage to the device.

  • Therefore, don’t look at the front pressure gauge when opening the tank valve.

  • Prevent too much tangling from occurring on the HP hose when operating and during storage and transportation.

  • Do not pinch or crimp the cell phone hose device.

  • Do not drag the tank/regulator unit with an HP hose.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Protect equipment from heat sources hotter than 60°C.
  • After every dive, we recommend thoroughly rinsing your equipment with fresh water, taking care to be careful if you have dived in that water
  • Contains chlorine (pool). Then let it dry in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Do not use any type of solvent (eg alcohol, alcohol-based detergent, or other chemical solvents) for cleaning equipment. Use only clean water.

LIMITED WARRANTY

  • If the product is deemed not to comply with the requirements and the terms of this limited warranty, Cressi sub or an authorized Cressi sub service center is entitled to charge service and/or repair fees.
  • The guarantee cannot be transferred by the purchaser first to a third party. Receipt purchase (with purchase date) from an authorized Cressi-sub dealer is required for warranty service.
  • Any repairs not covered in Warranty will be carried out at the buyer’s expense.
  • This warranty does not cover documents or any warranty provided by the retailer or agent outside the terms of this warranty.
  • Retailers or agents are not authorized to make any changes to this warranty or provide additional warranties.
