This manual describes the use, maintenance and risks related to neoprene
accessories.
GENERAL WARNINGS
!WARNING! – FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PRECAUTIONS LISTED BELOW COULD
CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE.
CONDITIONS OF USE
Cressi neoprene accessories are manufactured following production processes
and using materials that make them very reliable and durable. Their purpose is
to protect against superficial mechanical injuries and to protect against
atmospheric conditions of a non-extreme nature in a diving environment. In
order not to impair their quality and personal safety, however, it is
advisable to adhere to certain conditions of use:
– It is recommended not to use the described neoprene accessories in
contaminated environments or with high concentrations of hydrocarbons. Contact
with petrol or lubricants during normal operations on a boat, for example,
could affect their integrity.

MATERIALS
Cressi neoprene accessories are made using sheets of insulating neoprene
rubber that are coupled with protective nylon linings. Their function is to
limit the contact of external water with the epidermis, protecting it from the
sun and abrasions. The sheets are joined together by flat through seams, which
reduce the passage of water.

CHECKS BEFORE USE
Before each use, ensure the good condition of the neoprene accessories by
checking the integrity of the seams, the fabric and that the zip is functional
and undamaged.
CHECKS AFTER USE
After each use, check that the neoprene accessories have not been damaged and
if necessary repair them as soon as possible. We recommend that you go to an
authorised Cressi retailer for special repairs.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
After each use, neoprene accessories should be rinsed with fresh water internally and externally to remove sand and debris. Allow the accessories to dry in the shade, hanging if possible. Periodically hand-wash in cold water with detergent for delicate garments. Do not dry clean, do not machine wash, do not use bleach and do not iron.
- HAND WASH IN COLD WATER
- DO NOT DRY CLEAN
- DO NOT BLEACH
- HANG IN THE SHADE TO DRY
- DO NOT TUMBLE DRY
- DO NOT IRON
MAINTENANCE
It is always a good idea to check neoprene accessories for cuts and perforations; if they do, we recommend sealing them with neoprene mastic. Check that the zips are in good condition and that there are no foreign bodies between their teeth that prevent them from functioning properly. If they are difficult to open and close, we recommend lubricating them.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Store accessories in a cool, dry place (hang them on a hanger in the case of undersuit/suit/swimsuit), away from sunlight. Do not fold the accessories and avoid compression of the neoprene. Carry in a diving equipment bag that allows for some comfort and avoid excessively folding the accessories, especially near the zips.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of accessories strictly in accordance with the regulations in force in the country of disposal.
