Function
The PondECO Next is an electronic pond pump for use with filters, skimmers, waterfalls and water ornaments.
-
Run Dry Protection
The pump is equipped with a dry-running safety device, which is especially important when used inline. It is important that water can always be pumped around. If there is no water flow for 10 seconds, the pump will automatically stop and then restart after 10 seconds. If there is still no water flow, the pump will stop and restart again. This cycle is repeated 5 times, after which the pump stops completely. You can restart the pump when the water supply is restored. Pull the plug out of the socket, wait 60 seconds and plug it in again. The pump will now start up and pump water around. -
Thermal overload protection
The pump has a thermal overload protection in case the motor overheats, the pump switches off automatically. After a cooling down time of 15 to 20 minutes, the pump automatically switches on again. In order to prevent damage to the pump, it is essential to investigate the cause of the overheating and resolve the issue. Damage caused by overheating is not covered by the warranty.
