Installation Manual
Fixing the antenna to a mast
- lace U-bolt around the mast, adjust the antenna bracket and fasten screws.
- Allow approx. 1 metre of loosely fitted signal wire (as per the above right image) next to the fixing pole approx. 0.5 m below the antenna to allow the antenna to rotate.
Wall Mounting
Drill holes in the wall according to the holes’ position on the antenna
bracket, hammer plastic anchors (rawlplugs) into the holes, attach bracket to
the wall and secure with screws.
Railing Mounting (Balcony)
Install the antenna bracket to the railing using the U-bolt, adjust the rotating base on the bracket, attach the signal cable and fix the antenna onto the rotation base after adjusting the antenna to the right direction.
Waterproof installation
Connect the signal cable to the signal output jack of the antenna and secure cable. Fix the waterproof cap to cover the connections to avoid water penetration.
Connection and Usage
Connect the signal cable from the antenna (image 1 as above) to the signal input jack of the power adaptor unit (image 2). Connect the power adaptor output jack to your digital receiver (image 3), then connect the power adaptor unit to the mains power supply. Finally, connect your TV to the digital receiver. (If you do not have a digital set top box / Freeview receiver, then simply connect the power adaptor unit (image 2) direct to your TV – as per images below in section B). If you do not wish to power the antenna (and therefore use it as an unamplified antenna) then simply connect the signal cable from the antenna to your digital receiver or directly to your TV.
Adjustable alignment of antenna
Simply adjust the antenna position according to the broadcast of horizontal
or vertical signals.
