Product Usage Instructions

Connecting the Sinji Doorbell Camera to the app

1. Download the Smart Life app for iOS or Android for free.
2. Follow the instructions shown in the app.
3. Add the Sinji Doorbell Camera to the app in one of 2 ways:
   • A. By scanning the QR code:
   1. Switch the doorbell camera on by ringing it.
   2. Make sure your smartphone is connected to your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz).
   3. Open the Smart Life app and press ‘+’ sign in the top right of the main screen to add a device.
   4. Press the square with the dash in it at the top right of the screen.
   5. Your phone’s camera will open, give the app access if necessary, use it to scan the QR code below to add the Doorbell Camera.
   • B. Manually adding the Doorbell Camera:

Pairing the doorbell camera and the chime

1. Plug in the chime to a USB port (Preferably USB-A 5V 1A).
2. Press the pairing button on the chime for 3 seconds, until the indicator light starts blinking.
3. Press the doorbell button on the doorbell camera. If the chime rings, the pairing has been successful.

Installing the Sinji Doorbell Camera

Note : Instead of the screws (step 1-4), you can also use the double- sided tape pad to stick it to a surface. Make sure all surfaces the tape will be adhered to are smooth and cleaned.

1. Use the mounting bracket to mark the holes on the surface where you want to place the doorbell camera.
2. Drill the holes about 3cm deep using a 6mm drill.
3. Insert the wall plugs into the holes.
4. Screw the bracket into place with the hooks angled upwards.
5. Place the doorbell camera onto the bracket.
6. Use the small screw on the bottom right of the doorbell camera to secure it in place.

CONNECTING THE SINJI DOORBELL CAMERA TO THE APP

1. Download the Smart Life app for iOS or Android for free.
2. Follow the instructions shown in the app.
3. Add the Sinji Doorbell Camera to the app in one of 2 ways:

A. By scanning the QR code
B. Manually adding the Doorbell Camera

A. Scanning the QR code

1. Switch the doorbell camera on by ringing it.
2. Make sure your smartphone is connected to your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz).
3. Open the Smart Life app and press ‘+’ sign in the top right of the main screen to add a device.
4. Press the square with the dash in it at the top right of the screen.
5. Your phone’s camera will open, give the app access if necessary, use it to scan the following QR code below to add the Doorbell Camera.
6. Follow the steps in the app to complete the installation.

Note: If the Doorbell Camera is not in pairing mode (quick blinking LED), use a small blunt pin to push and hold the reset button on the back for 10 seconds until you have heard 2 sounds. (First a normal ring after 5 seconds and then a second, reset confirmation, sound.)

B. Manually adding the Doorbell Camera

1. Switch the doorbell camera on by ringing it.
2. Make sure your smartphone is connected to your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz).
3. Find the Doorbell Camera in the list of products and follow the steps in the app to complete the installation.

PAIRING THE DOORBELL CAMERA AND THE CHIME

Tip: Pair the doorbell camera and chime first, before mounting the doorbell camera on its bracket.

1. Plug in the chime to a USB port (Preferably USB-A 5V 1A).
2. Press the pairing button on the chime for 3 seconds, until the indicator light starts blinking.
3. Press the doorbell button on the doorbell camera. If the chime rings the pairing has been successful.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Look at ‘Contents’ for an overview of the various buttons and features.
When someone rings the doorbell a push notification and call will be send to every phone that has been added to the family and the Chime will sound. It will appear on your screen as a regular phone call with an added preview of the camera feed.
The doorbell camera only provides a video feed when the doorbell is rung. After 30 seconds it will turn off. If you open the doorbell (in the app) in the next 30 seconds, it will be activated again. There is only a live video feed within this timeframe. The video is one-way, the audio two-way. Note: Many functions can only be used during this active period.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the chime & remove the doorbell from its mount.
2. Clean the doorbell and chime with a soft cloth, a mild cleaning agent and as little water as possible.
3. Immediately dry them with a soft cloth afterwards.
4. Once everything is dry you can plug the chime back in and put the doorbell back in its bracket

• The Sinji Doorbell Camera is not compatible with classic Doorbell transformers.
