Safety precautions

Please strictly adhare to following
The instructions must be strictly followed in order to prevent damage to body and property.
Danger

  • Do not cover the lamp with thermal insulation material.
    Avoid causing fire accident.

Luminaires not suitable for covering with thermally insulating material

Leave a space between the appliance and thermal insulation materials, sound insulation materials and building materials, as shown in the figure below.

Warning

  • Please install strictly according to these instructions.
    Improper installation may result in the falling of the product, electric shock, fire or accidents.

  • This product is for embedded ceiling installation. Please don’t install at the following locations.
    © Thinceilings with poor strength.
    © Oblique ceiling.
    © Soft asbestos ceiling.
    © Wall.
    To avoid electric shock, fire and falling of the product.

  • Don’t use with a dimming device, such as brightness dimming switch, light controller, ect or other such devices to avoid a fire.

  • Incase of any abnormality, please immediately cut off the power to avoid a fire.

  • Please do not modify the lamp and change parts.

  • The power supply should be in the specified value (Rated voltage 220V-240V~)
    Long time operation exceeding this voltage range may lead to an accident or damage caused by overheating.

  • It is not advisable to install the lamp directly on the surface of normally flammable material.

  • The external flexible cable or flexible wire of the product shall not be replaced. If the flexible wire is damage,the lamp shall be scrapped.

Notice

  • Terminal block not included. Installation must be performed by a qualified person.

  • Don’t use the product in bathrooms, moist locations, as well as outdoors.
    The product is non waterproof. Improper installation may cause poor insulation, electric shock, fire, injury, ect.

  • Please cut off the power when performing maintenance to avoid electric shock.

  • Don’t put objects with high temperatures like electric warming ovens or gas cookers under the product to avoid a fire.

  • Don’t stare at the LED light source to avoid eye damage.

  • The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.

  • The LED light source has chromatic abberation. The photochromatic and brightness of different products vary from each other.

  • Please cut off the power when the product fails to light and contact the distributor or after-service department to avoid electric shock.

  • Before Installation, please make sure to take down the packing accessories.
  • Before Installation, make sure to take down the packing accessories and tape from the lamp to avoid a fire.
  • Ensure the installation position on the ceiling is strong enough to bear the weight of the lamp.
  • To avoid causing lamp falling or other accidents.
  • Open inserting holes on the ceiling by reference to the hole size provided in the confirmation items before installation.

Connect the power cord

  • To ensure safety, please be sure to cut off the power, before connecting the external power wire.
  • It is recommended to use a terminal block with shell for wiring. (The shell and terminal block shall be separately purchased)
    Please connect thepower cord of the lamp and the external power cord correctly on the terminal block,
  • (1) After the connection, the brown and blue wires shall not be exposed outside the shell of the terminal block.
    (2) The terminal block shall not be placed on the lamp.
    (3) Do not use threaded nail wire terminal
  • Improper connection may cause accidents such as fire and electric shock.

2pins screwless terminal block is used and it shall comply with IEC 60998-2-2;

  • Rated voltage: 250V~;
  • Rated connecting capacity: 0.5-1.5mm²;
  • Wire preparation: Wire stripping length 7~8mm

Installation and removal of the product

  1. Press the springs on both sides of the lamp upward at the same time along the direction of arrow.
  2. Push the lamp upward into the inserting hole
  • Insecure installation may cause lamp falling and other accidents. 3. Dismounting method: Use both hands to pinch the external edge of the external frame, and then pull the lamp downwards vertically to dismount it.
  • When dismounting the lamp, use your hands to press against the spring, so as to avoid it rebounding and hurting your hand,

Lamp color temperature adjustment

Adjust the color temperature by the wall switch (CCT switch)

  1. The lamp can adjust the color temperature: Cool Daylight(6500K)—Warm White(3000K)—>Cool White(4000k).
  2. When the wall switch turns on for the first time, the lamp is on with the condition of Cool Daylight(6500K).
  3. Turn off the wall switch and then turn on quickly (within about 11 seconds) for the lamp color temperature adjustment, please refer to ① for the adjustment method.
  4. If operating the wall switch too fast, it may not adjust the lamp color temperature.
  5. Turn off the wall switch (more than about 11 seconds) then turn on, the lamp is on in the initial condition (Color temperature 6500K).PANASONIC NNV70091WE1A LED Downlight - FIGURE 7
  6. When there are two or more lamps, because ④ condition may happen, it may occur the condition that several lamps have the different color temperature.
  7. When ⑥ condition occurs, please turn off the wall switch (more than about 11 seconds) then turn on again.

Maintenance

Cut the power to avoid electric shock.

  • In order to use this product safely and efficiently, please clean and check it regularly (once every 6 months).
    Lack of maintenance may result in electric shock, fire, person injury, etc.

  • When the product is dirty and requires cleaning, please wipe with soft cloth which has been moistened in soapy water, followed by a dry cloth.

  • Clean with soap water only. Don’t clean with pesticide, etc to avoid color fading, deterioration, strength reduction and damage to the product.
