Installation
To install the soundbar on the wall:

  1. Mark and drill 4 holes with a distance of 654mm in the same  horizontal level.
  2. Mark the position of 4 holes and drill holes accordingly.
  3. Insert 4 pcs of screws into 2 wall-mount brackets and fix them.
  4. Place the soundbar onto the wall-mount brackets as shown in the figure.

Connecting to Power Outlet
To connect the soundbar to the power outlet:

  1. Ensure that the power supply voltage is within the range of 100V~240V.
  2. Unwind the mains cable to its full length.
  3. Connect the mains plug to a mains socket.
  4. Ensure that the mains plug is fully inserted into the mains socket.
  5. Insert the power adapter end into the Soundbar DC port (Ref.12).
  6. Ensure all audio cable connections of the unit are properly inserted before connecting the soundbar to the mains power socket.
  7. Unplug the power cord from the outlet when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time.

Display Icons

  • Input OPTICAL: Connecting the soundbar with the Optical Cable (not included), e.g. to the optical port of the TV/device.
  • ARC: Connecting the soundbar with HDMI(ARC) Cable, to the HDMI(ARC) port of the TV.

Note: Remote control (B) requires 2 x AAA batteries (included). lt is recommended to use alkaline or heavy-duty batteries as this will ensure a longer playtime.

Basic Information

Automatic Power Off Function
The Majority NAGA 80 will automatically go into Standby Mode after 180 minutes of no audio signal/sound received from the device that is connected with, or if the TV/ device is switched off.

Installing the Soundbar to the Wall
This part of instruction shows those steps on preparing the installation of the Soundbar before hanging it on the wall.

Distance between 2 wall-mount pillars at the rear panel of the soundbar.

  4. Press INPUT button to change the modes between BT, OPTICAL, AUX, USB or ARC. Press and hold for 2 seconds to disconnect existing Bluetooth device and search for other Bluetooth device.

  5. Adjust volume up or down.

  13. Power On/Off.

  14. INPUT: Press to switch between modes.

  15. Play/Pause: In Bluetooth/USB mode, press to pause/play media.

  16. Back: Use in Bluetooth and USB modes to go back a track.

  17. Volume – Adjust volume.

  18. Default: To return factory settings.

  19. Bass +/-: To adjust during MUSIC, MOVIE or DIALOG mode. It is invalid during DEFAULT mode.

  20. 3D on/off- audio surround sound preset.

  21. RESET: To reset the volume and the EQ mode back to the default value.

  22. MUTE: Press the button to mute the sound. Press once again to unmute the sound.

  23. Forward button: Use in Bluetooth/USB mode to go forward a track.

  25. Media Modes: Select Music, Dialog or Movie EQ mode.

  26. Treble +/-: To adjust during MUSIC, MOVIE or DIALOG mode. It is invalid during DEFAULT mode.

  27. PAIR: To connect or to disconnect from a Bluetooth device.

Connecting to The Power Outlet

Connecting to the Mains Socket

  • Ensure that the power supply voltage is within the range of 100V~240V. Any other voltage may cause damage to the unit.
  • Unwind the mains cable to its full length. Connect the mains plug to a mains socket.
  • Ensure that the mains plug is fully inserted into the mains socket.
  • The mains plug/appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device. The disconnect device must remain readily operable.

  • Ensure all audio cable connections of the unit are properly inserted before connecting the soundbar to the mains power socket. Unplug the power cord fromthe outlet when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time.

DEFAULT

| DEFAULT is the default EQ. BASS+ BASS- TRE+ TRE- functions are disabled.

Please note : The 3D surround sound effect button (Rem.20) is a predefined preset which cannot be used with other EQ. Bass and Treble cannot be manually changed while using 3D.

USB Input
Please note that the instructions within this user manual will refer to the button number on the soundbar (Ref ‘number’), or buttons on remote control e.g. (Rem. ’number’), in accordance with the diagrams from pages 5 and 6.

Using the USB Playback Port

  1. Plug in a USB stick to the USB jack port (Ref.9) on the soundbar.
  2. Press the ‘INPUT’ button (Rem.14) on the remote control to change the mode into USB. The LED screen on soundbar will display ‘ ‘.
  3. Play music files from the USB stick through the soundbar.

Please Note:

  • The maximum memory size of a USB sticker 64GB.
  • The USB sticker must be formatted into FAT32 before use.
  • The supported audio files format are MP3 and WMA.

Please note: The USB port cannot be used as a port of connection with other devices as this is only for playback.

ARC Input

Using the ARC Input
Before connecting, switch off both the soundbar and TV.

  1. Plug in the ARC cable (included) to the ARC jack port on the rear panel of the Soundbar (Ref.8). Plug the other end of the cable into the TV’s ARC output port. Ensure the TV port that you are using is marked as ARC. Press the ‘POWER’ button on the top panel of the soundbar or remote control to switch the soundbar on.
  2. Press the ‘INPUT’ button repeatedly on the Soundbar (Ref.4) or on the remote control (Rem.14) until ARC Mode is selected. The LED screen must display ‘ ‘.

Optical Input

Using the Optical Input
Connecting the Majority NAGA80 with an audio source/TV/PC with an Optical Audio Output using a Digital Optical Audio cable (not included).

  1. Insert one end of the Digital Optical Audio cable to the optical output on the audio source and the other end to the Optical Input on the Soundbar (Ref.10).
  2. Press the ‘POWER’ button on the side panel (Ref.3) or on the remote control (Rem.13) to switch the soundbar on.
  3. Press the ‘INPUT’ button on the remote control repeatedly (Rem.14) to switch to Optical Mode or press the ‘INPUT’ button (Ref.4) repeatedly on the soundbar to select ‘Optical Mode’. The mode displays ‘ ‘.
  4. Using the native controls on your connected device, make sure the audio settings are on and set to PCM or Optical Audio.

Audio from the connected audio source will now be heard through the NAGA 80 .MAJORITY-NAGA-60-Soundbar-FIG- \(10\)

Using the AUX Input
Before use, switch off the soundbar.

  1. Connecting to external devices using a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm audio cable (not included):
    Insert one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX input socket on the rear panel of the Soundbar (Ref.7) and the other end into the audio output/headphone output on external devices, e.g. MP3 player, phone or other audio sources etc.

  2. Connecting to the TV using the 3.5 mm to RCA cable (included):
    Insert the 3.5mm cable end into the AUX in port on the rear panel of the Soundbar (Ref.7) and insert the other two RCA colored ends into TV’s RCA audio output port.
    Press the ‘POWER’ button on the panel of the soundbar or remote control to switch the soundbar on.
    Press the ‘INPUT’ button repeatedly on the soundbar (Ref.4) or the remote control (Rem.14) repeatedly until AUX In Mode is selected. The LED screen must display ‘ ‘. Bluetooth

  • The Majority NAGA 80 can be paired via Bluetooth with a Bluetooth-enabled device such as a Smart TV, PC, Phone, Tablet or similar that you would like to play audio from via the soundbar.
  • Press the ‘POWER’ button on the soundbar (Ref.3) or on the remote control (Rem.13) to switch on the unit.
  • Press the ‘INPUT’ button repeatedly on the remote control (Rem.14) or press the
  • INPUT button on the soundbar (Ref.4) repeatedly until Bluetooth Mode is selected.
  • While searching for a device to pair with, the ‘BT’ flashing is displayed on the LCD screen.
  • Switch your device’s Bluetooth connectivity on and start searching for the soundbar. Select the ‘NAGA 80’ from your device’s list when prompted to pair with the soundbar.
  • If a password is required, enter ‘0000’. If you encounter issues at this stage, please refer to the user manual of your device for instructions on pairing and connecting with other Bluetooth devices.
  • When successfully connected, a beep will be heard from the soundbar, and the ‘BT’ will stop flashing. After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless manually unpaired by the user, or until the device is reset.
  • If your device should become unpaired or you find it is unable to connect, repeat the above steps.
  • To unpair the soundbar from a paired device press and hold the ‘PAIR’ button on remote control (Rem.27) for 3 seconds to disconnect.

Please note : The Majority NAGA 80 is not compatible with Bluetooth earbuds.

Troubleshooting

| Check whether the unit is set to MUTE. Check that cables are properly installed. If cables are properly installed, please try connecting to your TV using an alternative cable.

| Check that your Bluetooth device is paired. Check that you have pressed the ‘PAIR’ button before pairing.

Check if the soundbar is paired with another device, unpair and try again.

Check whether external device requires password ‘0000’.

Function disturbance

Switch off and unplug the unit. Leave for 2 minutes and switch the soundbar on again. If a particular mode is causing problems,

please try an alternative connection to your TV such as Optical or Bluetooth.

No sound when connected and switched to OPTICAL IN mode

Check and ensure the audio setting of the input source (e.g. TV, games console, DVD player etc.) is set to PCM mode while using digital connection (such as Optical, HDMI or RCA).

3.If not, the soundbar is unable to play the input signal. Change the TV’s audio output to other digital input – PCM, and so as the Soundbar – OPTICAL

What batteries does the remote control require?
