Key functions

Object location
The Apple Find My network is an easy and secure way to locate compatible personals your item on the map using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Just connect your compatible product to the Apple Find My app, so you can view it on your Apple devices alongside. If your item goes missing, you can set it to Lost Mode with a message and your contact information to show to the finder. The Find My network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else can see your items location – not even Apple or the manufacturers of the object.

Quick instructions

1.1 Power on/off
Press the power button once to start SinoxTagMate. You will hear a single beep indicating with the power on. Press the same button for 3 seconds to turn off the power. You will hear short ones beeps to indicate that the Sinox TagMate is powered off.
1.2 Checking for Updates
To use the Apple Find My app to locate an item, we recommend the latest iOS, iPadOS or macOS version. The Find Items app on the Apple Watch requires the latest watchOS version.
2.1 Adding SinoxTagMate
Start the application. Open the Find My app on your compatible iPhone. Turn on Bluetooth and network connection on your phone.
2.2 Connecting SinoxTagMate
Press the power button once to turn on the Sinox TagMate, then select “Add Other Item” (add another item). Once the Sinox TagMate is located, tap “Connect”.
Enter a name for your Sinox TagMate, choose an emoji and tap “Continue”. Find My asks to confirm this with your Apple ID. Tap “Agree” and “Finish” and then Sinox TagMate is configured and ready to use.
3.1 Locating the location of Sinox TagMate
Open the Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app Apple with your Watch. Tap Sinox TagMate in the list. The location of the Sinox TagMate appears on the map.
The map also shows the time when the object was located. You can navigate the Sinox TagMate to the location by tapping “Directions”, which will open in Apple’s Maps application.
4.1 Notices
Enable “Notify When Left Behind” (notify when an object is no longer in range).
Open the Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on Apple Watch – on your watch.
Tap your item in the list. Enable “Notify When Left Behind” (notify when the object is no longer in the range) under “Notifications”. You will be notified when your Sinox TagMates remains somewhere and is no longer in range of your device.
4.2 Implementation of the “Notify When Found” feature (notify when an object is found)
Enable “Notify When Found” in “Notifications” (announcements).
When your Sinox TagMate is detected by another device using the Find My network, you will receive a notification of its location. Note: “Notify When Found” can be enabled only when your Sinox TagMate is not within range of your device.
5.1 When Sinox TagMate disappears / “Lost Mode” activation (lost).
Open the Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch. Tap your item in the list. Tap on “Enable” from there “Lost Mode” (disappeared). The Lost Mode screen appears. Tap “Continue” (continue). Enter your phone number or email address and tap “Next” (next). You can write a message that will be shared with the person who finds your item.
Tap “Activate” to enable “Lost Mode”. Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, “Notify When Found” is enabled enabled automatically.
Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, your Sinox TagMate will be locked and cannot be paired with a new device.
6.1 Resetting the Sinox TagMate
Remove Sinox TagMate from Find My.
Open the Find My app and select the “Items” tab. Tap your item in the list.
Make sure “Lost Mode” is disabled. Scroll to the bottom of the view and  tap “Remove Item”. A summary opens on the screen. Tap to confirm “Remove”.
6.2 Restoring Sinox TagMate factory settings
After removing the Sinox TagMate from the Find My app, press the power button on the Sinox TagMate quickly five times and on the fifth time press and hold it until you hear a beep. Sinox TagMate is now factory reset and can be associated with a new Apple ID/iOS.
7.1 Unsolicited Tracking
If any device using the Find My network that is remote from its Owner is detected following you for a certain period of time, you will receive a notification. Find My sends a notification to your Apple devices. This the feature is available for iOS and iPadOS versions 14.5 or later. This feature was specially designed so that no one could unknowingly try to track you.

Descriptions of buttons and beeps

  1. Power on
    Press the button (long beep)

  2. Power off
    Press the button for 3 seconds (two beeps)

  3. Reset
    Press the button 4 times, then long press until you hear a beep (remove Sinox TagMate from your “Find My” app before resetting it)

  4. Sound signal
    Press “Play Sound” from the application (give a beep) (the beep sounds 13 times)

FREQUENTLY ASKED:

1. How are objects located?

When the object is away from its Owner for a certain period of time, it can be located by other Apple devices. Through the Find My network, in which case the owner of the object will be informed of the location of the device.

2. How to confirm if the device is powered on?

Once you have received the device, press the button in the middle of the device and you will hear a beep. It indicates that the device is powered on. If you don't hear a beep, try resetting the device. If you still don't hear a beep, change the battery or contact our customer service.

3. How has unwanted tracking been taken into account in the design of the device?

If any device using the Find My network that is remote from its Owner follows you for a certain period of time, you will be notified in one of two ways: 1. If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, Find My will send a notification to your Apple device. This feature is available for iOS and iPadOS versions 14.5 or later.2. If you don't have an iOS device or a smartphone, use the Find My network from your Owner for a certain period of time, the remote device emits a beep when it is moved. These features was specially designed so that no one could unknowingly try to track you.

4. Why can't I find the device with Bluetooth connection?

Try resetting the device by pressing the button 4 times and then long pressing it until you will hear a beep OR you can try changing the battery OR you can try unpairing between your device and another Apple ID first before trying to connect again.

Battery
Sinox TagMate has a coin cell battery. The battery may need to be replaced during the product’s lifetime.
Replace the battery only with the same type (CR2032) with the same ratings. Install new battery facing the device correctly.

To replace the battery:

  1. Break the product into two parts through the opening between the top shell and the bottom shell.
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Insert the CR2032 battery into the device with the plus pole (+) facing up.
  4. Connect the top shell to the bottom shell and press firmly.

Safety and handling

Important safety information for handling Sinox TagMate. The device contains sensitive electrical parts, such as batteries. The device may be damaged, its function may be impaired or the device may cause personal injury if dropped, ignited, punctured, crushed, disassembled or exposed to excessive heat or liquids or environments with high concentrations industrial chemicals. Do not use the Sinox TagMate if it is damaged.
