INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

MTN229162 Steel Front Bumper compatible for Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator
STEP 1: Remove the factory bumper, air dam, and frame cover (optional). Remove
the air dam by pulling on the plastic clips holding it in place with a set of
pliers. STEP 2: Remove the factory front bumper by re-moving the 4 factory
nuts on both bumper mounts. Unclip the wiring harness from the fog lights STEP
3: Cutthezip ties holding the factory fog light harness to the factory bumper.
STEP 4: Remove the bumper completely. Now you can either remove the factory
frame cover or some prefer to leave it on if not running a winch, with
applicable bumpers. Some bumpers require cutting the plastic to use the frame
cover. STEP 5: Remove the factory fog lights from the bumper for re-use on
your new bumper by removing the 4 screws holding each one in place.
(Not applicable on all models, only the ones with cut outs for the fog lights,
if you don’t have factory fog lights or compatible bumper skip steps 4-6) STEP
6: Line up the light housing to the tabs on your new bumper as shown and use
plastic fasteners, zip ties or bolt hardware (not supplied) through from the
opposite side so the fastener is coming towards you and tighten down. Begin by
unpacking all items andinspecting for missing pieces or damage. If you have
any concens, please contact the company the product was purhcased from. Extra
hardware may be included with the hardware kit.

(14) M6x20 Allen
(14) M6 Hexagon nuts with flange
(3)M8x25 Allen
(3) M8 Hexagon nuts with flange STEP 7: Loosely install bull bar onto the
bumper using the provided M6x20 allen head hardware. STEP 8: Loosely install
the fairlead mount by securing to the bumper and bull bar using the provided
M8x25 allen head hardware.
Secure the hardware for the bull bar, then secure the hardware for the
fairlead mount using a 13mm wrench and 5mm allen bit. STEP 9: The bar body is
welded withM12x35 external hexagonal screws, which can be moved and adjusted
to a suitable position to align with the installation holes of the framel.
STEP 10: Lift the bumper to the vehicle and secure the bottom corners using
the provided M12 Flange nut hardware using 18mm socket.
Torque all mounting bolts to 55 ft-Ibs.
Note: Assistance is recommended prevent injury and damage to the product
and vehicle. STEP 11: If you are running a winch and fairlead, install it at
this time using the hardware provided with the winch and fairlead. STEP 12:
Reconnect the fog light harness to the fog light that is now installed into
your new bumper
