Check the bag and replace if full

Check the pre-motor filters for debris
- One filter is located inside the bag tank in a plastic cage
- Other filter is located under bag tank in round center portion of Lock ‘n Seal Lever
- Both filters and cage can be rinsed in warm water
- Air dry completely before reinstalling in machine

Check post-motor filter on side of vacuum for debris
- The white post-motor filter is not washable and will need to be replaced when dirty

With the bag tank removed, turn on machine feel for suction at motor duct where small, round pre-motor filter sits then turn off machine
- If no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Upper-tank and dirt/air ramp may need to be wiped clean if dirty
- Clear any debris from suction inlet in upper right corner of upper tank

Twist hose to the left to remove from back of vacuum and pull out of lower hose
- Push a broom handle through hose to remove clogs
- Hose will need to be replaced if cracked or damaged

Remove the screw from left side of lower hose on back of machine and straighten hose
- Push a broom handle through hose to remove clogs
- The access plate can also be removed to help clear clogs
- If still no suction, please contact a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
