Important! The handles and backrest can only be fitted by persons with
sufficient strength due to the high operating forces.
Check before use
Before use, ensure that all screws are tight and that the chair is standing on
a level surface.
After adjusting the height of the shower aid, it is particularly important to
ensure that the spring pins are correctly engaged
The rubber feet are a wearing part and must not be damaged. If they are
damaged, they can be replaced by your specialist dealer if necessary.
Using the shower aid
Place the shower aid in the shower. Make sure that all four rubber feet are
securely on the floor or shower tray. People who are unsure about using the
shower should only enter it with the help of a carer.
Use the shower aid like a normal aid.
Do not lean backwards or too far to the side, otherwise there is a risk of
tipping over.
The upholstery material is made of water-repellent plastic.
Use the handles to sit down and stand up.
You can attach the shower head to the front of the seat (right and left)
during personal hygiene (Fig. 10).
Now you can get on with your personal hygiene. Excess water drains away
quickly through the holes in the seat.
Remove any soap residue after use and dry the shower aid.
Caution! Shower aids are generally less resistant to tipping than chairs
in the home.
Therefore, avoid leaning out to the side.
Lifting points
You can lift the shower aid by the metal frame to carry it over obstacles or
steps. Avoid lifting the aid by the seat.
Beware of the risk of slipping! There is a risk of slipping when sitting down
or standing up in wet rooms, especially if there is soap on the floor.
