KLEIN TOOLS BC513C Bucket Work Center
DESCRIPTION
The Bucket Work Center is an ecosystem that will revamp the way a Lineman works. It allows a Lineman to customize their workspace, just like other professionals customize their office space. This will be “The Lineman’s office.” The Bucket Work Center is designed to work with aerial buckets with a standard 2″ (51 mm) or 3″ (76 mm) lip and is made of impact-resistant materials with dielectric properties to help stand up to the toughest work environments. An assortment of modules are available to customize each workstation to fit the tools needed for the job.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION: S-HOOKS (FIG. A)
- Align S-hook 1 with bucket lip.
- While applying downward force, rotate S-Hook 1 around bucket lip.
- Snap S-Hook 1 into place.
INSTALLATION: SINGLE S-HOOK MODULES (FIG. B)
- Align the orange cartridge opening in the module 2 with the point of the S-hook 1 and slide the module 2 on the S-hook 1 while the module is perpendicular to the bucket wall.
- Rotate the module 2 around the bend of the S-hook 1 until it lies flat against the bucket wall.
INSTALLATION: DUAL S-HOOK MODULES (FIG. C)
-
Space the S-hooks 1 to match the distance between the 2 orange cartridge openings in the module 3 .
-
Align the orange cartridge openings in the module 3 with the points of the S-hooks 1 and slide the module on the S-hooks 1 while the module 3 is perpendicular to the bucket wall.
-
Rotate the module 3 around the bend of the S-hooks 1 until it lies flat against the bucket wall.
For examples of installed modules, see FIG.D. Modules left to right are:- BC312 – 3″ (76 mm) S-hook (Qty. 7) 1
- BC509S – Socket Storage 4

INSTALLATION: RAIL SYSTEM FOR WALLS (FIG. E)
If the walls are being assembled to a bucket that does not have a liner, the Bumpers 16 attached to the Wall Assembly Screws 17 will need to be replaced with the included larger Bumpers 16 If you are not replacing bumpers, skip ahead to step 5.
-
Open the Wall Assembly Clamp 18 .
-
Using a pair of pliers, loosen the Wall Assembly Screw 17 until the Bumper 16 is forced off the Wall Assembly Screw 17 .
NOTE : Be careful to not remove the Wall Assembly Screw 17 from the Wall Assembly Clamp 18 . -
Using a pair of pliers, tighten the Wall Assembly Screw 17 back into the Wall Assembly Clamp 18 until the you can press the large Bumper 16 onto the Wall Assembly Screw 17 .
-
Repeat for all Bumpers 16 .
-
Open the Wall Assembly Clamp 18 .
-
Using a pair of pliers, loosen the Wall Assembly Screw 17 maximizing the gap between the Bumper 16 and the Wall Assembly 7 . Do not loosen the Wall Assembly Screw 17 far enough to push the Bumper 16 off.
-
Align the Wall Assembly 7 with the bottom of the bucket lip.
-
While pressing the Wall Assembly 7 against the bucket, start to rotate the Wall Assembly 7 around the lip.
-
Continue pressing the Wall Assembly 7 against the bucket lip while rotating the Wall Assembly 7 .
-
Rotate the Wall Assembly 7 around the bucket lip until it snaps into place.
INSTALLATION: CORNERS (FIG. F)
- Drop the Integrated Corner Piece 8 into position next to the Wall Assembly 7 .
- Align the two tabs of the Integrated Corner Piece 8 with the matching recesses of the Wall Assembly 7 . Lift the Wall Assembly 7 and slide the Wall Assembly 7 against the Integrated Corner Piece 8 . Let the Wall Assembly 7 rest against the bucket wall covering the tabs.
- Snap the single upper tab of the Integrated Corner Piece 8 into the opening of the Wall Assembly 7 .
- Install a second Wall Assembly 9 on the adjacent bucket wall and engage all tabs and recesses.
- Find the 2 black deadbolt handles at the bottom of the Integrated Corner Piece 8 and make sure they are rotated away from the bucket wall.
- Align the opening in the Wall Assembly 9 with the deadbolt pin and rotate the deadbolt handle towards the bucket wall allowing the deadbolt pin to lock the Wall Assembly 9 to the Integrated Corner Piece 8 .
SECURING RAIL SYSTEM TO BUCKET (FIG. G)
- Using a pair of pliers, tighten the Wall Assembly 7 screw against the outside of the bucket wall until the screw is snug against the bucket wall. Do not overtighten.
- Rotate the Wall Assembly 7 clamp handle locking the screw in place.
INSTALLATION: MODULES TO RAIL SYSTEM (FIG. H)
- Align the open hook 10 on the rear of the module with the Wall Assembly 7 rail and slide the module straight down until the cam locks into place.
For examples of installed modules, see FIG.I. Modules left to right are:
* BC200WA – 2-Man Wall Assembly **7**
* BC505C – Open Hook **10**
* BC501C – Hard Tool Storage **11**
* BC507C – Auger Bit Storage **12**
* BC508C – Utility Bar Storage **13**
* BC599 – Integrated Corner Piece **8**
* BC100WA – 1-Man Wall Assembly **9**
* BC502C – Tool Apron Storage **14
**
INSTALLATION: BC99WA STORAGE WALL (FIG. J)
- The Storage Wall Rail Assembly 15 is designed to mount on truck bins or any flat storage location.
- Use the 6 included sheet metal screws to mount the Storage Wall Rail Assembly 15 to 22 gauge or thicker sheet metal truck bins or similar surface.
