Particulate Filtering Facepiece Respirator in accordance with NIOSH Standards
42 CFR Part 84.
APPLICATIONS

does not eliminate exposure or the risk of contracting disease or infection.
It is approved for protection against particulate aerosols free of oils. Klein
Tools recommends this respirator for use against particles that become
airborne during activities such as grinding, sanding, or processing wood,
minerals, flour, iron, coal, and certain other substances. The protection

intended application meets national requirements.

- DO NOT use against vapors, paint spray, oil-based aerosols, asbestos, and sandblasting.
- DO NOT use against any contaminant whose concentration is unknown, or immediately dangerous to life
- DO NOT use against concentrations of dust and mists that exceed the maximum use concentration, or 10 times the contaminant’s permissible exposure limit established by OSHA.
- These respirators do not supply oxygen. Use only in well-ventilated areas containing sufficient oxygen to support life.
Leave the contaminated area immediately if:
- Dizziness or distress is experienced.
- You taste or smell contaminants, or irritation occurs.
- Breathing becomes difficult.
- A defect is discovered in the respirator.
- DO NOT alter or modify the respirator.

- The use of this respirator presupposes exact knowledge of the instructions for use, applicable health and safety standards, guidelines for selection and use, and appropriate training in matters of personal respiratory protection.
FITTING
The respirator must be inspected by the wearer before and after each use to ensure that it is in good working condition and valves are seated correctly.
NOTE:
Before occupational use of this respirator, a written respiratory protection
program must be implemented meeting all the local government requirements. In
the United States, employers must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 which
includes medical evaluation, training, and fit testing.

If you CANNOT achieve a proper seal, DO NOT enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor.
STORAGE
Store the respirators in cool dry atmosphere at a temperature of between -20°C and 40°C.
