INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

I. SAFETY WARNING
  • Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.
  • Check whether the data on the type label corresponds with the voltage in your socket. The power cord plug may only be connected to the electrical socket complying with the applicable standards.
  • This appliance may only be used by children aged 8 years or older, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children younger than 8 years must be kept out of reach of the appliance and its power cord.
  • Before exchanging any accessories or accessible parts, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning and maintenance, when carrying, when you leave it unattended or after finishing the work, switch off the appliance and disconnect it from mains by unplugging the power cord plug from the electrical socket!
  • For additional protection, install current protection (RCD) with the nominal release current not exceeding 30 mA. Ask a revision technician or an electrician for advice.
  • Never use the appliance if the power cord or power plug are damaged, if the appliance is not correctly operating or if it has fallen on the floor and been damaged, or if it has fallen into water. In such cases take the appliance to a professional service centre to verify its safety and correct function.
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • WARNING: To avoid overheating and potential fire, never cover the appliance.
  • Children under 3 years of age must be kept away from the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
  • NOTE: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
  • Do not place the appliance under electrical socket. For safety reasons, leave the minimum distance of 1 m between the appliance and any obstacle on any side (furniture, walls, etc.).
  • ATTENTION: Do not use this heater in series with an external timer, remote controller or any other device that switches on the appliance automatically, since a fire risk exists when the heater is accidentally covered or displaced at the moment it switches on.
  • Do not use the appliance in bathrooms in zones 0, 1 and 2 (Fig. 3)! It must not be used in a close proximity of bathtub, shower or swimming pool.
  • Fit the castors (see fig. 1) using delivered connection material. Use the radiator only with correctly fitted castors!
  • The appliance must not be immersed in water or other liquids (not even partially)! If the appliance falls in water, do not take it from the water! First disconnect the power cord plug from the electrical socket, and then take out the appliance from the water. In such cases, bring the appliance to a specialised service centre to verify its safety and proper operability.
  • Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
  • Do not plug the power cord in the electrical socket and do not unplug it with wet hands or by pulling the power cord!
  • The appliance must not be used in a damp or wet environment and in any environment with the danger of fire or explosion (premises where chemicals, fuels, oils, gases, paints and other flammable or volatile materials are stored).
  • Only use the appliance in the working position at places with no risk of overturning and in a sufficient distance from other objects (such as curtains, drapes, etc.), heat sources (e.g. fireplace, heater, stove, cooker, radiators, hot air ovens, grills ) and wet surfaces (e. g. sinks, wash basins ).
  • The oil radiator is filled with exactly defined quantity of a special oil. In case of oil leakage, contact authorised service centre.
  • In case of radiator disposal, observe relevant provisions for disposal of oil.
  • Do not put the switched on appliance on soft surfaces (e.g. on a bed, towels, wipers, carpets ).
  • Ensure that no object, flammable or otherwise is closer than one metre to heat source.
  • Keep the mains lead away from the hot body of the heater.
  • Do not switch on the appliance if the appliance is not completely assembled.
  • This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
  • The radiator has thermal protection disconnecting power supply in case of dangerous overheating (the radiator will be switched off). In case of overheating and activation of thermal protection, contact authorised service centre.
  • Do not modify the appliance surface in any manner (e.g. by self-adhesive wallpapers, foils, etc. ) !
  • When handling the appliance, avoid causing any injury (e.g. burns ). Do not move hot appliance, wait until it cools down!
  • Only use original components designed for this type.
  • Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.
  • Never put the power cord on hot surfaces and never let it hang over table edge or worktop edge. If the cord is caught or pulled, e.g. by children, the appliance may overturn and fall down, causing a serious injury!
  • Avoid winding the power cord around the appliance, otherwise the power cord service life would be reduced.
  • If you need to use an extension cord for justified reasons, it must be undamaged and comply with the applicable standards.
  • Only use this appliance for the purpose it was designed for, as specified in this manual. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.
  • WARNING: There is a risk of injury when the appliance is not used correctly (not in accordance with the manual).
  • All texts in foreign languages and pictures shown on the packaging or the product itself, are translated and explained at the end of this language mutation.
  • The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any damage caused by improper handling of the appliance and its accessories (e.g. electric shock, fire ), and the appliance guarantee will become void if any of the aforementioned safety instructions are not observed.
II. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE (Fig. 1)

III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Remove all the packing material and take out the appliance.
Remove all possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance.
Installation
­

– Fit the castors as shown on fig. 1. For the purpose of stability, the castors should be fitted at the edges of the radiator.
-­ Place the appliance on a flat, dry and clean surface.
-­ Insert the power cable fork in power socket.

Thermostat
The appliance is fit with a room thermostat to maintain temperature in the heated room. Use switch A2 for adjustment of the thermostat. The thermostat will maintain the required room temperature by automatic switching the heating spirals on or off.

IV. MAINTENANCE

Turn off the appliance before any maintenance, unplug the fork of the power cord from the power supply socket and let it cool down! Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Carry out surface maintenance only ( wipe off dust etc. ). For removing old dust or other impurities, use a soft damp cloth. Store the cooled down appliance at a safe and dry place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people.

Expert service must do the large maintenance or to intervene into inside parts of the appliance! Non-observance of the instructions of the manufacturer cancels the right for guarantee repair!

V. ENVIRONMENT

Printed signs of materials used for manufacture, packing, components and accessories, as well as their recycling, are on all the pieces if their dimensions enable it. The symbols on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electric or electronic products must not be disposed together with municipal wastes. Please, hand them over to the collection points designed for their correct disposal, where they will be accepted free of charge. By correct disposal of this product you can help to preserve valuable natural resources and help to prevent possible negative impacts to the environment and to human health, which could be the results of incorrect waste disposal. For further details ask the municipal authorities or the nearest collecting point. Penalties can be charged for incorrect disposal of such wastes, according to national regulations. If the appliance is to be put out of operation definitely, we recommend cutting off the feeder cable, to disable its use.
