TR-4168D Wildcat XX Stage 5 Dual Exhaust System

1. Remove the rear plastic frame protector (4 bolts)
2. Remove the silver heat guard (9 bolts)
3. Remove the (3) nuts and bolts holding the muffler to the chassis
4. Remove the (4) springs holding the muffler to the header. Remove the muffler from the vehicle making sure not to lose any of the rubber grommets under the silencer bracket.
5. Remove the (6) nuts holding the stock head to the engine. As it is hard to reach it is recommended to use a 1.5-foot extension with a 13mm swivel socket. Remove the stock header making sure not to lose any of the copper gaskets in the exhaust port.
6. It’s best to install the new headers into the collector to visually see how they will go on the vehicle. Install each one separately; tighten bolts just enough that they are snug but you can still rotate the pipes. After all three are installed slip the 3 into 1 collector on and make sure the collector is straight and parallel to the ground. Then the header can be securely tightened down and short springs can securely connect 3 into 1 collector.
7. Slip the 2 into-1 collector onto the 3-into-1 collector and attach the short springs provided between the various welded-on spring clips.
8. The two pipes which connect the header system to the mufflers go on next. The one pipe with the tightest 180˚ bend goes on the collector that is toward the back of the car. The larger radius 180˚ bend goes on the collector that is towards the front of the car. Attach to 2 into 1 collector with short springs.
9. Bolt-on the two double billet muffler mounts to the steel mounting plate provided. Snug up the bolts on the two brackets and then bolt the plate to the chassis where the stock muffler is mounted. Be sure to use the stock rubber grommets. Loosen the two halves of the muffler mounting brackets enough to slide the mufflers freely right to left and into the two 180˚ bends. Install springs to spring clips on mufflers and align mufflers to the desired look.
10. Once all springs have been installed, torque all mounting hardware to OEM specifications. All mounting hardware should be re-torqued following the first couple of hours of riding.
11. Install large Trinity back shield plate with supplied (4) 3/8-24 x 5/8” button head bolts.
12. Before starting the vehicle, clean all stainless steel sections of the exhaust system with a carb cleaner, brake cleaner, or stainless steel cleaner to remove all oil and fingerprints from installation.

Trinity Racing will not be held responsible for damages that occur during the operation of your vehicle under improper fuel settings. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the owner/rider to adjust fuel settings to specific riding conditions and elevation changes before riding.
• Inspection of the muffler packing is recommended every 15 hours of runtime. Failure to maintain muffler packing will result in power loss, increased sound output, and damage to the muffler body or muffler components.
• Trinity Racing exhausts systems are designed for high-performance applications and are legal for closed-course competition only. This product is not applicable nor intended for use on emissions-controlled streets, highways, or off-road vehicles.
