- Remove stock muffler by pulling back on it. (make sure exhaust is not hot).
- Remove the 4 Torx bolts holding the aluminum heat shield onto the vehicle.
- Start the installation by taking the included aluminum bushings and pressing them into the stock rubber bushings.
- From there, take the muffler mounting plate and install the top by using 2 of the small aluminum bushings, the long hex head screw, lock washer, and nut.
- Next you will mount the bottom of the mounting plate, by using the medium thickness aluminum spacers and place them in between the bracket and the frame of the car. Secure them by using the appropriate hex head bolt, square black mounting plate, lock washer, and nut. (See Photo).
- Now onto the mufflers themselves. We will start by hanging each of the clamps onto the black mounting plate, utilizing the thick aluminum spacers, hex head bolt, lock washer and nut.
- Once the rear brackets are mounted, take each individual muffler and place them onto the bracket, while also installing the front clamp. It is best to start with the center hex head on each clamp.
- Next, take the stainless Y-Pipe and slide it onto each muffler. Once on the mufflers, slide the opposite side onto the header and install the V-Band Clamp.
- Now it is time to take the included springs and connect them from the muffler to the Y-Pipe.
- Once everything is installed, go over all bolts and make sure they are properly secured.
