GENERAL
Please unpack all parts and check that everything is present and undamaged. Do
not use the product if damaged. In this case, contact your local authorised
specialist or the service address of the manufacturer.
These operating instructions contain important information for the first use
and normal operation of this product.
Read through the complete operating instructions carefully before using the
product for the first time. Read the operating instructions for other devices
which are to be operated with this product or which are to be connected to
this product. Keep these operating instructions for future use or for future
users’ reference.
Failure to follow the operating instructions and safety instructions may
result in damage to the product and hazards (injuries) for the operator and
other persons.
The operating instructions refer to applicable standards and regulations of
the European Union. Please also adhere to the laws and guidelines specific to
your country.

Please take note of the following symbols and words used in the operating instructions, on the product and on the packaging:

PROPER INTENDED USE
The product is intended exclusively for private household use and not for
commercial use. Use outside that stipulated in the information is improper use
and this can result in damage to property or personal injury. We accept no
liability for damage caused by incorrect or improper use.
The device is a Jumpstart cable with safety electronics, compatible with ANSMANN Powerstations PS600AC and PS2200AC. Use with other devices is explicitly NOT permitted.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- This product may be used by children from the age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been instructed on the safe use of the product and are aware of the hazards. Children are not permitted to play with the product. Children are not permitted to carry out cleaning or care without supervision.
- Keep the product and the packaging away from children. This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the product or packaging.
- Observe all information and safety instructions for the device to be charged before using the power station.
- In order to prevent any risk of fire or electric shock, the Powerstation must be protected from moisture and rain! Never submerge the product in water or other liquids. Do not use the device if it is wet. Never operate the device with wet hands.
- The product can be damaged by impacts, shocks or being dropped, even from low heights. Handle the product carefully! Do not continue to use a damaged device. RISK OF EXPLOSION! Dispose of the Powerstation in accordance with instructions.
- Do not expose to potentially explosive environments where there are flammable liquids, dusts or gases.
- The product may only be used in closed, dry and spacious rooms, away from combustible materials and liquids. Disregard can result in burns and fires.
- Operate the product only within its power limits as cited in the technical data.
- Protect the product from moisture, overheating and dirt. Use it only in dry environments.
- Never expose the product to extreme conditions, such as extreme heat/cold, fire, direct solar radiation, etc.
- Do not use while still in the packaging.
- Carry out cleaning tasks only when the mains plug has been pulled out / when the power supply has been disconnected.
- Clean only with a slightly damp cloth, then rub it dry. Do not use hard brushes or sharp objects, abrasive cleaners or solvents.

- Do not open or modify the product! Repair work shall only be carried out by the manufacturer or by a service technician appointed by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE JUMPSTART CABLE
- Connect the blue plug to the Powerstation’s “JUMPER CABLE” output. Ensure that the plug is fully inserted. The LED indicator on the cable will not be active. Place the Powerstation near the car battery, ensuring a secure position.
- Connect the red clamp to the positive pole (+) of the car battery. Connect the black clamp to the negative pole (-) of the car battery.
- The following operating modes are now possible:
- Green light is on continuously: The connection has been established correctly.
- Green light is blinking: The car battery is very deeply discharged. Press the “BOOST” button on the Jumpstart cable and wait until the green light shines continuously. Start the engine within the next 30 seconds.
- Red light is on, audible warning signal: The connection clamps are incorrectly attached. Remove the connection clamps and reconnect as described in point 2.
- No light is on, no audible signal: The car battery may be damaged and non-functional. If you are certain that the connection clamps are attached correctly, you can try to activate the battery using the “BOOST” mode.
- You can now start the vehicle directly.
- Once the engine is running, remove the connection clamps and disconnect the Power-station from the vehicle.
ATTENTION!
- Never press the “BOOST” button before the connection clamps are properly attached to the car battery.
- Never short-circuit or connect the connection clamps together.
- Use exclusively with 12V car batteries.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION | DISPOSAL
Dispose of packaging after sorting by material type. Cardboard and cardboard
to the waste paper, film to the recycling collection.
Dispose of the unusable product in accordance with legal provisions.
The “waste bin” symbol indicates that, in the EU, it is not permitted to
dispose of electrical equipment in household waste.
For disposal, pass the product on to a specialist disposal point for old equipment, use the return and collection systems in your area or contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
